This stay completely exceeded my expectations. I had originally planned a last-minute overnight stay, attracted by the laundry facilities (which were indeed clean, with complimentary packaged detergent and Siemens washer-dryer sets). Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded my room and explained all the complimentary activity vouchers. The complimentary afternoon tea and rainbow boat ride were excellent and not at all a token gesture; my child absolutely loved them. The 'buy one get one free' snack at Starbucks was the icing on the cake! The main reason I'm writing this review is the incredibly good value kids' club service. I highly recommend it to families with children, especially the half-day program (we could only do half a day due to our schedule), which offered an excellent experience! Coach Daxia was incredibly versatile, leading children in a wide range of activities: paddleboarding, surfing, climbing, coconut harvesting, sand crab catching, feeding small animals... During afternoon tea, I even saw him making balloon animals as a clown! With him, the children were never bored! Building A of the hotel is filled with bookshelves everywhere, even by the sofa in the laundry room, so bookworms won't get bored either. As for food, we mostly ate at the hotel: the coconut chicken was super delicious! And I finally got to try the highly anticipated vinegar-dregs lobster hotpot!

The staff were all very welcoming and proactive in offering help. We also had butler service. The room was spacious, though the bed creaked a bit when I turned over, but it didn't affect my sleep. Breakfast was decent, with good cheese and coffee options.

It truly lives up to its name as a garden hotel. The moment you step into the lobby, it feels like entering a huge, beautiful garden. The parent-child handicraft activities were also great, and the staff were very patient. It's very close to the beach, and there are even small animals in the hotel garden, like lambs you can feed. My child was very happy.

The hotel is located at the far end of the beach, with a wide road in front. It's in a residential area with tall buildings, so it's a bit out of the way. You'd need to drive to Gaolong Bay for food. From the room, you can see the Sea Library and the sunrise. The female staff at the front desk weren't very friendly and lacked a service-oriented attitude. The room size was average, but it was clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. My main complaint is the breakfast buffet, which was quite disappointing and didn't match the hotel's star rating. Even business hotels in Haikou know to use fresh ingredients and offer local fruit varieties. The Wyndham's omelet ingredients didn't include butter, but had chopped green onions! 😱 The breakfast selection was very ordinary. The 'Lao Ba Cha' (local tea) and self-service fried juice were a plus, but the other cold and hot dishes were just mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.

The butler service at Wyndham Wenchang Nanguo is incredibly thoughtful! They proactively added me on WeChat before check-in to discuss our needs. Every day after check-in, they'd ask if we needed more water, tissues, or other daily necessities, and their response was always prompt and attentive. The room was spacious and comfortable. The laundry room on the second floor is a lifesaver for families with kids; we could wash clothes after playing in the water anytime, saving us from lugging around a lot of luggage. Overall, it was a relaxing and hassle-free stay. Highly recommend for families traveling with children!

The hotel room was well-designed, comfortable, bright, and clean. The hotel environment was elegant, and the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. There was a large bathtub on the balcony. A typhoon hit Hainan on the day we arrived, and the hotel had already taken proper precautions against it.

The city doesn’t have much to do, but the hotel is well maintained and the staff were amazing specially Raja at the front desk. They upgraded our room and provided a few other treats during our stay like fruits and congee at night. The room smelled funny as soon as we got in but we opened the door for a while and it was ok. I would stay there again.

Finally got to experience Wyndham, something I've wanted to do for ages but kept getting delayed. This time, I made it! Because of a rocket launch, our butler Mollie specially arranged a room with an amazing view, which was fantastic! The hotel service was also excellent, with every staff member always smiling. The breakfast seafood noodles, Hainan noodles, and Baoluo noodles were absolutely delicious! The hotel is quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely go back if I get the chance!

we stay at the highrise block, the room is humid and smelly. We try to change to another room, then fine cokroch in the room. There is only one restautant, the service is poor, the food is not impressive. The price is expensive. The only reward is the beach outside the hotel, very long and beauitiful beach.

The management service was excellent, and they even brought us a sweet soup. My kids had a wonderful time, making it perfect for a family trip. It's really convenient to walk to the island beach, and there are even late-night food stalls nearby. We had a very pleasant stay!

Facing the sea, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. A thoughtful detail for self-drivers was that our car windows were cleaned. The surroundings are quiet, and the local noodle soup for breakfast is a specialty. There's also a restaurant, or you can opt for takeout. The room is perfect for watching the sunrise. Very satisfied.
