Wenling Yiju Yard

The inn is relatively close to Dongxia Beach but further from Golden Beach, giving it a secluded feel. As we drove up the winding mountain road and pulled into the parking lot, the moment we saw the inn, it felt like we'd stumbled into a secluded paradise. The view from the inn is stunning. In the evening or early morning, enjoying the sea breeze and gazing at the tranquil sea below, the scattered small fishing boats, and the lights of the past is a uniquely romantic seaside experience. The proprietress's cooking is incredibly delicious, and you can tell from the first taste that she uses quality ingredients. Although I tend to have a strong palate, the proprietress's dishes are light, fresh, and fragrant, with just the right amount of flavor. They're heartily prepared, heartwarming, home-style dishes. Furthermore, the owner is warm and engaging, and the younger host is also very polite and thoughtful. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

This B&B is located halfway up a mountain, and the scenery is truly stunning. First, let's talk about the road conditions. The road up the mountain is a fairly large two-lane road. Initially, the navigation system directed us to a very narrow, single-lane road. With our wide car, we almost couldn't get in or back out. Later, we asked the owner, who told us there's a main road. Turn left at the church and go up the mountain. Driving slowly is perfectly fine. Upon entering the B&B, the small bridge, the flowing water, the large terrace, and the expansive ocean view all captivated me. The owner was very kind, even helping with our luggage despite his own back problems. We were a group of six—two adults, two seniors, and two children—and booked a king-size room with ocean view and a family room with ocean view. He even gave us a free upgrade. The breakfast at the B&B was delicious, cooked in-house. It was simple, clean, and delicious. Lunch and dinner can be reserved with the owner in advance, but we didn't know about it, so we went out for dinner. The owner also kindly recommended a restaurant with good food, generous portions, and a good value. On our check-in day, we visited Colorful Xiaonuo Village, Golden Beach, and Dongxia Beach. Dongxia Beach is the largest, with clean water and not far from the B&B. The kids had a blast there. The next day, after checking out, we planned to visit Pearl Beach, but it was closed due to a typhoon. Instead, we went to Linhai Ziyang Street for some delicious food. To sum up our Wenling trip, the scenery was beautiful, the seafood was delicious, and it was a great experience for both the elderly and children. During the May Day holiday, Shitang traffic was restricted. The owner was very considerate and contacted us in advance and suggested ways to travel, so that we could avoid traffic jams and have fun in the restricted area. After arriving at the store, I was warmed by the owner's enthusiastic service and healed by the beautiful scenery of the homestay. It was a very happy trip. I hope I will have the opportunity to come here to escape the heat in the summer.

Different from the hustle and bustle of Golden Beach, I enjoyed the silence in the woods and the view of the sea at the embankment. The scenery was so unique. I will come again next time. It is a very good holiday home.

The B&B has an invincible large terrace where you can watch the sunrise as soon as you open the door. The surrounding is very quiet. The owner personally receives you and is enthusiastic to deal with any problems you encounter. The proprietress is a good cook. The B&B focuses on being considerate and close to the people, and it is very comfortable to stay there. Because it is located halfway up the mountain, it is a bit nervous for large vehicles to go around the bend. We mainly called Didi for two days of sightseeing in the surrounding areas, and the local drivers went up and down very easily.

Sitting in the room, you can overlook the sea view and sunrise on the top of the mountain. It is also convenient for stargazing at night. There are not many people and it is very quiet. Bringing children, I chose a twin room, one 1.8-meter bed and one 1.2-meter bed, so I can have a good rest. The boss is enthusiastic. It was already evening when we arrived. I asked the boss to arrange dinner in advance. I fried a few dishes. The ingredients were fresh, delicious and refreshing. The boss's wife had good cooking skills.
