It would be nice if they had a swimming pool.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and neat in appearance. This is our fourth or fifth stay. Delicious breakfast today, Jan. 1, 24. Sausage links, biscuits, and gravy among the normal continental breakfast items. It is DEFINITELY our go to motel when we travel to Mt Pleasant!

Finding a decent hotel that accepts dogs (esp our two 60-80lbs doodles) and doesn’t charge an arm and leg is tough. This was our first time staying in Mt Pleasant and we were thrilled with the experience. We were able to get the king bed room we’d booked, and the desk clerk kindly put us close to the outside door to make it easy to take the dogs in and out. Hotel itself is no-frills, but it was clean and well-maintained, the room was spacious, had the basics as far as mini toiletries, and had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was mostly muffins/granola bars/oatmeal with a couple options for cereal or bread/bagels to toast. Location was great (right next to Target, Subway, 7-Eleven) and grass/trash cans outside for doggie “business.” Overall, great experience for the price. We’ll be adding this to our list the next time we need a stopover in northern MI.

Staff was accommodating, however we had to change rooms twice as the bed sheets were stained yellow. Overall the three rooms we seen smelled of dirty carpet.

First time visiting Mount Pleasant,Michigan, enjoyed the scenery also many places was in walking distance.

A little tough checking in, nice room, "breakfast" is a joke. Coffee, juice, and some cereal.

Booked 3 rooms for thanksgiving. While it was less than 5 miles from the ******, time spent in the hotel gave me a little too much time to contemplate things like broken towel racks, ac filters that hadn't been cleaned before our stay. Definitely a shoes on hotel; bring slip-ons/slippers. I do whole-heartedly recommend the non-studio suite if you plan on being in your room a lot, but probably ask for an extra pillow if you plan on sitting on the couch - It sinks back pretty deep. That said, the full fridge/freezer was a huge plus, Though even the studio suites have a freezer attached to their mini-fridges. The standard rooms are just mini-fridges. Continental breakfast is just dry goods. The good news is there's a 24/7 orange juice/apple juice dispenser - not just coffee and water - so that's not locked off or anything. A 7-eleven you can walk to without crossing a road makes sure you can get hot food 24/7, and there's a lot of curio shops in the area you won't commonly find if you're closer to Metro Detroit, never mind the fact that the main road its on, mission st, has basically every fast food joint common to MI within a 3 mile span; I literally passed 3 Subways on my way to Soaring Eagle, lol. Definitely hit up the pixie for fast casual dining. Overall, its a little overpriced for what you're getting, but its still the cheapest rate you'll commonly find.

Checking in was so easy and the front desk staff person was very friendly and nice. The room was clean but had a funky smell.
