The Chumbi Mountain Retreat & Spa

Very peaceful location. Very silent. Nature friendly. Room was very spacious, clean, hygienic, well maintained. I saw Kanchenjunga valley from the comfort of my room itself. Different shades of the mountain valley was visible. Staff was very cooperative. I had vegetarian food, it was excellent, I never felt bored of eating the food. It was buffet, excellent variety was available for us to fill out stomach. There was music during the evenings. It was drizzling in the evening, could not enjoy the campfire. Resort is built beautifully. Lots of photos taken as memory.

Ample room space Location of resort follows a steep broken road. Recommended to hire a full time vehicle. Walking not possible. Views from the property and room itself are mind blowing.

Specious room, washroom, lobby and common areas. Amenities of room, kitchenet and tolieters are sufficient. Housekeeping are best service. Fornt desk are best service. Everywhere⬅➡⬆⬇↗↘↙↖ are specious, clean and peaceful.

Checked in today in room number 4005 ,4006 ,4007. Biggest mistake of my life. Booked full board so have to go for dinner. But they refused to provide conveyence to reach to the dining despite heavy rain and senior citizens . Somehow managed to reach dining after climbing more than 70 stairs since there is no lift or e-cart to drop the occupants. Now come the twist. The entire dining buffet was pure Nepali food without having a single Indian dish. Icing on the cake was plastic pieces in dinner served for free. Irony of the day is sikkim is striving to be a clean and green state but club Mahindra is offering plastic even in food. Awaiting for more such pleasantries. Alas help us God.

Being an old member , I can assure it is a very nice property to relax and unwind . Staffs are as usual very receptive and humane . Suchana in spa section and Bhupendra in FNB needs a special mention for their hospitality. Mr Ashish - Sr manager also very courteous . Thanks for making our holiday experience awesome ..

An excellent hotel stay in hills. Spectacular views and good food. Kanchenjunga view was memorable.

We had a wonderful 5 day stay at The Chumbi Montain Retreat Resort and Spa. The resort is beautiful, tucked away in the mountains with full view of the Kanchenjunga on clear days (we were able to see the full range on a sunny afternoon during early monsoon). The property is very well maintained, every nook and corner is decorated with plants and wooden frames in a very tasteful manner. The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping and maintenance staffs - Pratibha and Krishna Thami took good care to arrange every little thing we needed. The restaurant staff is exceptional. Sisir Ji and his entire team - Kapil, Shanti, Sharmila took great care of us - even going to the extent of making diabetic friendly meals. Diwas Ji, Front Office Manager, helped us from planning our trip and ensured our comfortable stay in the resort. Overall, it is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the serenity of Pelling/Sikkim.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with genuine smiles and prompt service. A special mention to Mr. Kapil Chandra Roy, who took great care of us at the restaurant. His attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth truly elevated our dining experience. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was fantastic! A great variety of delicious dishes, beautifully presented, and served with impeccable service. Each meal felt like a special experience in itself. Overall, this was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend The Chumbi Mountain Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. Looking forward to visiting again!
