"It is a nice hotel with a spectacular view of the beach. Facilities are quite simple but acceptable. Car park space is limited and needs to be booked in advance, otherwise you need to go for the public car park nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"We stayed here for 1 night me and my partner and 2 year old the staff were very friendly took us to our room and set up the single bed for us. The location is great right near the see front and we had a lovely view of the sea from our hotel room window. They offered a lovely continental breakfast with cereal, toasts and pastries which is perfect for a light breakfast and the coffee was lovely we enjoyed are stay will definitely be returning g again in the future"

"Hotel’s location great, close to seafront and town centre. The room smelt a but funny as you walked in and I would not have been able to open the window without my boyfriends help. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest it looked like someone tried to flush a teabag down the toilet and it was stuck on the bottom. The water pressure on the 3rd floor was absolutely rubbish, it would’ve been easier to have a wash in the sink. We did request a room with a bath tub, which we didn’t get, but on the other hand the hotel had a little outdoor garden with sauna and hot tub which we did use for additional £20/person and we did not regret it! Also the young man on the reception was extremely helpful."

"I stayed at the George with my son for one night, and it was everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the service was efficient and very friendly, with appropriate Covid measures in place to make us feel comfortable and safe. Everything was very clean, including our shared bathroom. Due to Covid, the breakfast room was closed, so breakfast was brought to our room, and was fine - bacon bap, croissant, etc. As you would expect from a many-roomed guest house, there was a bit of TV noise from adjoining rooms, but nothing that disturbed us, and my son enjoyed the large TV screen! A short walk from the front and reasonable prices made this an excellent choice for us."
