### A Our trip to Whitefish—our base camp for exploring Glacier National Park—started on a rough note at another local property. After a highly unsatisfactory first night elsewhere, we checked out early, and the Larch House graciously stepped in to accommodate us. From that moment on, our experience was nothing short of fabulous. The turnaround began the second we met Lauren at the front desk, whose exceptional hospitality set the tone for the rest of our stay. The team even provided us with a room upgrade that absolutely exceeded our expectations. Every single detail of the property is immaculate and thoughtful: the stunning decor, the incredibly comfortable bed and high-quality sheets, the luxury of heated bathroom floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and even subtle, high-end touches like leather-wrapped handrails. Their grab-and-go breakfast easily outperforms what you would expect from a standard hotel offering, but the real culinary highlight was their on-site restaurant, ENGA. We had originally planned to head into town for dinner, but after stopping in for a few incredible appetizers, we completely changed our plans. We ended up dining there two nights in a row. It is upscale, sophisticated dining that I did not expect to find in Whitefish—what an absolute treat! From start to finish, our stay was fantastic. The Larch House turned a potential vacation disaster into a memorable, world-class experience. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The design is elegant and refined, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and the service is top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special. The restaurant and bar were exceptional, with delicious food and perfectly crafted cocktails. Larch House absolutely exceeded my expectations! The property is incredibly design-forward, with a level of detail that makes the entire experience feel intentional and elevated. From the moment you walk in, the aesthetic is striking, warm, modern, and thoughtfully curated without feeling overdone. The room product was exceptional. The finishes, materials, and layout all felt high-end and comfortable at the same time. It’s the kind of space where you immediately want to slow down and stay awhile. Everything felt polished but still very Montana-appropriate. The food and cocktails were another highlight of the trip. The quality, presentation, and overall execution were impressive and easily on par with top dining options in the area. It added a lot to the overall experience of the stay. The location is hard to beat! Right in the heart of downtown Whitefish, with shops and restaurants just steps away. There’s also a nearby walking trail, and the golf course is only about a five-minute drive. Overall, Larch House is a stunning boutique property that clearly prioritizes design, comfort, and a high-quality guest experience. If you appreciate thoughtful architecture, beautiful interiors, and excellent food, this place really delivers.

I was truly blown away by the design of this Olson Kundig luxury hotel located in downtown Whitefish, Montana! As someone who appreciates high design that still feels comfortable, this was a nice surprise. Having been a visitor to Whitefish for many years, I looked forward to staying at this new property. While the charming community and access to the outdoors are world-class, the town lacked a true luxury hotel, so I was excited to experience it. Well, it only took a few nights as a guest to win me over, and I cannot wait to return. Beyond the design and location, it was the staff who really stood out. Everyone I encountered was gracious and attentive. Tyler at the bar and Andrew in guest services made me feel at home throughout my stay. Keep up the great work.

Let's just go to the punchline, the Larch House is THE best place in town to stay! We are experienced Whitefish visitors and could not be more excited to have a new hotel, restaurant, and bar IN TOWN! I put IN TOWN in big print because it is THE best location of any hotel in the area. Located right downtown, a block or two or less away from any restaurant, bar, or shop, and about a 10 minutes drive to the ski mountain parking lot. The place is georgous! I'd say somewhat Montana Mountain Chic. Our room was beautiful, quite large, big windows, great views, and a giant patio porch! The bed was super comfy and the shower is about as nice and giant as any cool shower could be. There is beautiful outdoor space as well, and a really beautful roof-deck and heated pool, so cool! The restaurant and bar are the town's newest must-do hot spot, with great energy. So, the "place" is awesome in every way! 5 - STARS, and A++++ in every way! Part 2 of this is of course THE PEOPLE. Every single person is beyond nice and helpful, always a smile and always willing to help to make our stay the best, and we pretty much met everyone .... the culinary staff, front desk, housekeeping, the list means EVERYONE! Stacey, the General Manager is a PRO and is running now THE BEST PLACE to stay in Whitefish - and just the nicest person who will ensure your stay is perfect ... and again, Whitefish is the best! 5 Stars, I'd give it 10+ if I could, it's the best in town!
