Rodeway Inn Historic

It was really bad experience. The staff was not friendly. The room was full of roach, the bed smelled bad and had much hair from another people, bed sheets that appear not to have been laundered between guests. We were checked in late but the room still appeared not clean. So disappointed. We were so tired but can’t stay a night there. Talked to a manager about the room issue and she was pretending agreed a refund but after we left, they never did.

Checking was seamless. The room was clean. Will stay again.

Its a great place even if a little dated. We have stayed here before and liked it enough to stay again. There were a few things that were not the greatest like my son found a cough drop wrapped in the cover of his bed and the dresser had a huge hole in the second drawer. The room didn't have a screen door like the other rooms did so I was a little disappointed about that, it was one of my wife's favorite things about the place. Only had 2 towels for 4 people but they had no issues giving me more when I asked. Their pool is great and open late so you can swim in the lights under the stars. Every room has a bench right outside so you can sit and enjoy the morning or evening whatever. The ice machine didn't have much ice when I used but it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast spot nextdoor is the best in Williamsburg so being in walking distance is awesome. It is such a reasonable price, centrally located and a chill place to stay we will definitely be back.

1950s motel with rooms with carpet, wallpaper, and drapes from the 70s, maybe. Ancient wall AC, rather loud. Absolutely nothing is upgraded. Cheap, but that's the only good thing.

Great value in a VERY convenient location for William and Mary, or Colonial Williamsburg. Not new, not fancy. Cheap, clean and comfortable. Things showed their age, but worked. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice and had a good amount of fluff (but not too bulky). The towels were not great, but there was plenty of hot water and they even provide complimentary soap. It is all on one level and parking is immediately outside the door. Pool is decent. No breakfast.

It's very close to Colonial Williamsburg, the area seems very safe, the room was large with the little porch area & a bench to sit on. We stayed four nights, they don't offer room service you set your trash outside ,they come and get it , you take your wet towels to the office, which I don't mind at all, what I do mind is the gentleman working there is so unprofessional .

Nice day staff! Clean basic room!! Pool nice. Very old hotel but clean bed, close to where you want to visit but could not sit on sofa and lots of stains on carpet

Check-in was super easy and quick. Disappointed about the elimination of the breakfast, but there were restaurants close by. Perhaps the motel could partner with pancake restaurant next door with coupon.

Friendly check in, air conditioner was awesome! Really spacious and bathroom extremely clean. Great for our stay!
