Some booking pages give three stars for this hotel, I think that this is worth of at least four stars. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Car park is convenient in the garage, the hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable. Especially the family room (two rooms separated by a door) is perfect since children can have real beds instead of lumpy couches as in most family rooms. Location is handy, only a short walk to the railway station and city of Brugg.

Do not expect luxury. Modest hotel, clean and quiet, walking distance from the railway station. No wardrobe in the room, no amenities either. Coffee, water and fruits available on every level. Basic breakfast.

Stayed for 3 nights whilst travelling for business. I booked from Sunday to Wednesday. The hotel was closed on Sunday evening, but the staff sent me a message and also called to let me know the access code to the building and left my room key on reception. Although it felt like I was the only person staying on the Sunday, I felt perfectly safe. The hotel is fairly new and located on the University campus in Windisch, Brugg. Train station 5 minute walk away. My room, 201 was a coroner-aspect deluxe room - with a kitchenette. The room was extremely spacious and featured a refrigerator, 2-ring hob, sink and utensils - enough to prepare basic meals. For me, the fridge was the selling point - to keep drinks, from the nearby co-op cool. Bathroom had a sliding door and a spacious walk-in shower. Bed was comfortable and there was a large screen TV also. As a single occupancy room, I’m not sure whether this is a Swiss ‘thing’, but only 1 pillow supplied in the room and the duvet was smaller than the width of the bed. Not a problem for 1, but would be an issue if 2 people sharing a bed. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel as I needed to leave for work early each day, but the restaurant is a high-quality steak restaurant. I ate one night at the restaurant and had the ‘1.0’ burger, which was really tasty. My colleagues ordered a tomahawk to share, which looked delicious when served. The hotel has complimentary bottled water (refrigerated), coffee and fruit located nearby to the elevators on each floor. The area is very conveniently located, but extremely quiet in the evenings - with amenities closing early. I would definitely return when working in Switzerland. Approximately 40 minute train journey from Zurich airport.

I booked a comfort double room, but looking back at the photos, I think I may have stayed in a comfort single. There was only one pillow. It didn't really matter which room you stayed in if you were staying alone. Also, the folding table was broken. The staff were very friendly and the bread at breakfast was delicious.

Excellent location because close to the train station. In 25 minutes in Zurich. Externally not pleasant but the interior is simple but clean. The spacious room. Open glass shower. Essential courtesy products. Nespresso machine, free fruit and water in the corridor. Good breakfast although limited on dessert. Beds a little soft. Noisy fridge in the room.

It was uncomfortable because there were two single beds.

Very comfortable hotel. Magnificent bathroom with Italian shower. Coffee and tea machine upstairs: very practical. Excellent a**osphere thanks to very attentive, friendly and professional staff. Dream breakfast. Very good value for money. To recommend without reservation.

busness hotel, could be good if they didn't charge me double. The staff was extremely rude when I tried to clarify. zero competence. At the end they said that if it was a technical problem they can't do anything, no money no apology. Just to avoid any further discussion, cause managment tries to blame *********** or me, the situation was negotiated with *********** and the hotel clearly rejected to cancel 2nd reservation and to return money.
