Winthrop Trailside Getaway 1 - A cozy trailside retreat in the Methow Valley.

This was an amazing place to stay. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and had all the extras you don’t usually find in a rental, like spices, foil, parchment paper, and zip top bags. The space was very clean and there were plenty of extra towels for both showering and kitchen use. The full size washer and dryer were such a bonus while traveling, and even having stain remover available was a thoughtful touch.The host also provided a welcome binder with helpful information about the property along with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We really enjoyed our time in Winthrop and would absolutely stay here again next time we are in town.

This was one of the nicest places that we have stayed in Winthrop. We come here a few times a year for hockey tournaments, and will definitely look to stay here again. Conveniently located close to town. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had and gave thorough check in and out instructions. We even saw a deer in the front driveway.

The house felt so warm and welcoming! Loved that it basically had everything that we needed for our hiking getaway. It was a quiet location and was very relaxing to come back too after a long day. So happy with our stay and anytime we come to Winthrop we will definitely want to rebook

We absolutely loved this house! The proximity to a ton of the popular larch hikes in Seattle, as well as downtown Winthrop was perfect. It is also about 40 minutes to Diablo lake! 3.5 from Seattle. The house is in the cutest neighborhood with the friendliest neighbors. It was spotless upon entering, clean up to Monica’s standards (if you get the reference). It also had plenty of supplies and all we needed. The bedrooms were both big with comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. Also the check in and out was flawless and easy. The host was responsive and prompt with messages, even let us check in a little early which was awesome. Never stayed in a better place truly! Can’t wait to tell our friends and make it an annual trip. 10/5 stars!!

We loved everything about David's cabin! From the moment we walked in, we could tell that he was very thoughtful about making his cabin comfortable for guests. The cabin was spotless, very well equipped, and the perfect location for exploring Winthrop and the North Cascades area. It is located a short, easy walk from "downtown" Winthrop, and it is only a short drive from many of the best hiking trails in the area. The pictures do not do it justice! We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to the area.
