Travelodge Worthing Seafront

Basic and no frills hotel in a prime location on Worthing seafront. I chose as it’s great value and the location could not be better. The place really could do with a refurb, that said, the staff are just fantastic. Such a warm welcome and everyone I encountered is so happy, helpful and engaging. So lovely, especially when travelling alone. Great budget stay and the people made all the difference.

No hot water. Building works are being undertaken and I would not have stayed if I knew before.

Excellant location, staff very helpful especially the manager who remembered us from previous visits. Site very clean and room was spotless with lovely sea view. Yet another relaxing visit and all ready booked to go back for longer in June.

Fabulous stay, fabulous “shasha” helped me soo soo much! So basically I had an issue with the heating and it was amended instantaneously! I was happy because I didn’t think I could have been treated so well but now I will definitely be coming back… Shasha saved the day

Shasha the Receptionist has been my saviour throughout my whole stay, she has allowed me to settle in and actually enjoy my stay here, greeted everytime I’m seen and has catered to all of my many requests. I will definitely be returning in hope that Shasha is working

Shasha the receptionist evicted two 15 year old boys from their rooms even though they were accompanied by an adult, their team coach, in another room. She insisted they share their coach’s room, which is prohibited by safeguarding and so they were put out onto the street at 7pm with all other hotels full. She is a heartless, callous jobsworth who deeply upset and panicked my son. She should be ashamed. Why was this allowed to happen? No manager was available to mitigate the actions of this appalling, ignorant fool. Why was no manager on duty on a busy bank holiday? Why was a fully booked hotel left in the hands of an incompetent, inhumane receptionist? I shall be seeking redress and compensation through lawyers. Don’t stay here. It’s a pitiless dump.

The lady who checked us in was very kind and polite (shasha), she said "as you're here for 3 nights you'll be wanting a sea view". The view was great, so lovely to wake up to the sight and sound of the sea. She told us everything we needed to know, it was a lovely welcome. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The rooms arent luxurious, but have everything you need, shower was powerful and water hot. The car park behind was useful and we were even allowed to leave the car there after we'd checked out so that we could do some shopping. Great location with the sea across the road, pier a short walk, 2 really lovely cafes in the road behind and a short walk to town. We're planning to return.
