Snow Valley Hongbo Inn

Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience. At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!). **Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold! For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down. **The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.

I really felt the warmth and hospitality of the owners. They even contacted me before I arrived to confirm my requests. When I checked in, I got to try some Northeastern specialties like frozen pears and frozen persimmons – the frozen persimmons were especially delicious! Their iron pot stew was also amazing. The heating in the room was incredibly good, almost too warm! When we checked out, they even gave the three kids little fridge magnets, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. It truly felt like ***** New Year there.
