Snow Vally Haitao Inn

As a 'southern spud' experiencing snow for the first time, I was completely charmed by Haitao Inn! The owner helped arrange a carpool from Harbin, which dropped us off right at the guesthouse entrance, so we didn't have to drag our luggage through the snow. The room was clean and tidy, with an independent bathroom that had no strange odors. The heating was so good I only needed a light jacket – no worries about being cold at all. The owner really understood our southern obsession with snow. He took us to a less-known spot on Wusong Ridge for free, patiently taught us how to get those amazing 'water-splash-into-ice' photos, and even used his drone to capture panoramic videos for us. The Northeastern dishes were all delicious, no matter what we ordered blindly – the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was crispy outside and tender inside, and the 'Di San Xian' (stir-fried potato, pepper, and eggplant) was fresh and flavorful. The prices were reasonable and fair. It felt as comfortable as staying at a friend's house. There were no hidden tricks throughout our stay; the service was thoughtful and genuine. For accommodation in Xuegu, I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
