Xuegu Xiaoyun Farmhouse (Xuegu Scenic Area Branch)

I really have to commend the entire team at Xiaoyun Inn! From giving us travel tips before we even left, to picking us up at the bus stop and helping with our luggage, the owners are truly the most down-to-earth and patient people I've ever met. The owner himself even helped my child and me put on our snow gaiters, which made me a bit embarrassed! Both the dinner dishes and the candied hawthorns and frozen pears were absolutely delicious. They have a full range of recreational facilities, and the owner personally accompanied us, from the play equipment in their own courtyard to the exciting rides at Xiongfeng Mountain. Most importantly, the inn is affordable, but has everything you need: clean and comfortable rooms, and on-call service. It's a shame we only stayed two nights due to time constraints. When we left, the owner even gave us a very memorable small gift. We will definitely be back if we get the chance. See you again, Xiaoyun Inn!

Facilities: Everything you need is available and quite new. The hot water is excellent, so no worries there. Hygiene: The guesthouse is very clean, and the restaurant is also spotless and serves delicious food. Environment: Being surrounded by snow is a lovely feeling. The guesthouse isn't too close to others nearby, so it's very quiet. The shuttle service takes you directly to the guesthouse entrance, which is super convenient. Service: The owner is wonderful! They helped us take photos doing 'water-to-ice' tricks and playing on the slide outside the guesthouse. They also took many beautiful photos for us at Dog Bear Ridge!

Our two days in Xuegu were the highlight of our entire trip to the Northeast. My son didn't want to leave! At the inn, you could play on tractor snow tubes, snow slides, and swings. On the second day, they even added ice carts and a gentle slope slide. The kids had so much fun! In the evening, they made us candied hawthorns and offered unlimited frozen pears and persimmons. We really appreciate the owner's thoughtful hospitality; we were so satisfied with our stay. This is definitely a genuine review. Northeast China is amazing, we'll definitely come back!!

This was my first trip to Snow Valley, and initially, I only planned to stay for a day. But I quickly realized one day wasn't enough, so I extended my stay by another day. Xiao Yun's place truly exceeded my expectations! In the evening, the owner took us to play some snow activities, and we even sang songs with other guests and made candied hawthorn skewers ourselves. The next day, we set off for Bear Ridge, and we started playing from the moment we began climbing up until we came back down. We didn't waste a single moment of the entire day; it was so fulfilling! We could try all the activities as much as we wanted. The owner even brought their own camera to help us take photos and videos. The experience was truly amazing 👏🏻🎉 This was definitely the most recommendable part of our entire Northeast trip! 👍🏻

The owner was incredibly welcoming and even took us on a tour. Before we left, they printed out some photos for us, and the food was absolutely delicious! They even helped us take a ton of photos and videos. Highly recommend!

Our overall stay was fantastic. The room was warm, and the bedding was exceptionally clean and tidy. The provided toiletries were also quite comprehensive. Staying here for these two days felt more like being at home! There was absolutely no awkward or unfamiliar atmosphere. The landlady was incredibly engaging and treated us like family, with great attention to detail. Their food was delicious and really suited our Southern palates. We finished every single dish, leaving nothing behind. There's genuinely nothing to complain about. Their recreational facilities are also quite extensive. Before coming, I compared many places and even visited other guesthouses in the small mountain village. It's true that their property is larger, and the courtyard scenery is beautiful. Their tractor, in particular, was a lot of fun. This is unique to them; it seems they offer it for guests staying at their place. While we were playing, some guests from other guesthouses also wanted to join in, but they had to pay separately. I'm so glad we stayed here. I asked those two people from another guesthouse, and their room was even more expensive than ours, and apparently, they had nothing to do. Their guesthouse was quite boring. In contrast, staying at Xiao Yun's was much richer in experiences, with entertainment options day and night. In the evening, we could release sky lanterns, play on the tractor, go tubing, and even sing. The atmosphere was excellent. Those who enjoy a lively time can all join in the fun. It's truly highly recommended. This stay definitely deserves five stars!

Service: The room was warm and had large windows offering great views of the snowy landscape outside. It was snowing when we arrived, which was absolutely beautiful! We felt very lucky. The landlady was very welcoming, and her little baby was incredibly cute, greeting everyone. It's such a warm and inviting guesthouse. Definitely worth another visit!
