Friends who have been here know how great the value is! 😉😉 I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I finally had the chance to visit today. It was a fantastic experience, not a disappointment at all! The whole experience was incredibly enjoyable. The store isn't very big, but the layout is very organized, and the lighting creates a great atmosphere. I always check this platform before going out, and it's consistently excellent. Five stars! I hope they don't get complacent and continue to work hard! ⁽ⁿᵔᵕᵔⁿ⁾ I'm very satisfied with the service, and I hope we can continue to have a pleasant working relationship in the future! CCeritalahWe stayed at Kuolanting Inn for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by three friendly women. Although language was sometimes a barrier, we always felt well taken care of. The hosts patiently used a translator whenever we needed anything, which made communication smooth and reassuring.
Mr. Gang was exceptional. Even before our arrival, he provided us with all the information we needed. He managed all our transportation—from Harbin to Snow Village and back to Harbin—and even arranged our transfers between Snow Village and Snow Town seamlessly. During our stay, he joined us in activities and recorded our moments using his 360° camera, which was such a thoughtful and special touch.
The lady who cooked for us was lovely, and every meal she prepared was absolutely delicious. We felt full, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

GGuest UserI rarely write such detailed reviews, but this trip to Harbin, especially the arrangements in Xuegu, was truly a highlight. This guesthouse we booked was perfect for enjoying the snow. Just 30 meters from the entrance, there's a huge snowy field, and behind it, a mountain for hiking to see rime ice. The guesthouse is newly renovated but has no unpleasant smell. The room was spacious, very clean, and soundproofing was excellent; even with fireworks going off outside, I couldn't hear a thing, so I slept wonderfully for both nights. For such an affordable price, breakfast was included. The sweet potato porridge was delicious and fragrant, and there were also eggs, steamed buns, pickles, melon seeds, sugar tangerines, and frozen pears – all you can eat. Plus, there were free fireworks displays in the evening! The landlady was incredibly warm and helpful, answering all our questions and even providing us with lots of travel tips. Both the adults and kids had a fantastic time during our two days in Xuegu. I hope to come back again and have already recommended it to my friends!

JJiamoufurenThe owner pre-booked a bus for us from Harbin to Xuegu, which dropped us off directly at the guesthouse entrance. They also provided shuttle services to and from the ski resort. Frozen pears and frozen persimmons were aplenty, and in the evening, they even taught us how to make candied hawthorn skewers – the emotional value was off the charts! The guesthouse is centrally located in DongSheng Forest Farm in Xuegu, just a short walk from various iron pot stews and small BBQ joints, which was incredibly satisfying! I even got to experience sleeping on a traditional heated brick bed, and I honestly didn't get enough sleep, haha… I hope to have the chance to visit Xuegu again and stay at Jiayi Guesthouse!

PPxxkpuiiThis is a very new, modern-style hotel. Some rooms are decorated in a Japanese style. The bathrooms are large and clean, with views of either the mountains or the street. The hotel is located in the center of the village, and you can walk to the activity area. If you're hungry, you can order food from the kitchen area. Most importantly, the host is incredibly kind and also seems quite young. They contacted us before our trip to check in and took us to the ski resort in the village because we woke up late, so we didn't have to book other activity areas. They even joined us for activities, took photos and videos, took us sledding, and drove snowmobiles. In the evening, when we didn't go out into the village, they messaged to check on us out of concern. We felt that the host took great care of us without making us feel uncomfortable or intrusive. We were very impressed! Also, the app mentioned a deposit, but it seems the host didn't collect it.
P.S. If you haven't chosen an activity area beforehand, the host will likely take you to Xie Yue Lai (Xin Yue Lai). This place is great for sledding, skiing, and snowmobiling, with a high-angle view of the village. If you want beautiful tree views, you'll need to trek through. If you don't enjoy these activities, there might not be much to do, so I recommend finding another activity area as well.

GGuest UserHighly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

He has multiple jobs including driver, tour guide, photographer, babysitter, help with booking a car, customizing an itinerary, etc. I knew there was no TV in the room before booking, but I was afraid I would be bored. As a result, the whole night's activities were arranged in a variety of ways, haha. You can have fun and fall asleep. The boss's family is warm and sincere. It really feels like home. The sliding ring in their own yard makes the children have a lot of fun. There are even more fun trips to Yangcao Mountain Crossing and Wusongling. The boss also took us to explore the snow in depth, and the experience was full 💯 There was also a small episode. On the way to the B&B, I left my ID card in the service area halfway. The boss helped to contact and find it. When we came back from the trip, he gave us a big surprise. I was touched❤️ The first sentence of the child after moving to Harbin was Let's go back to Xuegu to play 😂😂😂 Highly recommended for families with children, super cost-effective You can just go to the snow town to check in. If you have enough time, it is recommended to stay here for a few more days. This is the most satisfactory place for this trip to Harbin. I will come again next time! ! ! 🥰

MMind-wThis hotel is great, it feels like staying at a relative's house in the countryside. It's a bit far from the shops as it's at the end of the village (but if you want to buy things or eat at restaurants, it's not a long walk). The location is fantastic because you open the door to beautiful mountain views. Right next door there's an activity area with a slider and ice skiing. It's not crowded, so it feels very private. There's also a waterfall near the hotel. You can spend all day at the hotel without getting bored because there are activities to do and beautiful views for photos. The hotel food is delicious, and breakfast is free. It's mainly rice porridge, eggs, pickled vegetables, and plain steamed buns. If you want other things, you can order à la carte. Hot pot is also available but costs extra. You can buy snacks or drinks at the hotel if you don't want to walk to the village shops. Prices are reasonable, and you can pay by QR code or cash. The rooms are in the same building as the lobby, so if guests in the lobby are loud, you'll hear them. I recommend booking a room further from the lobby if you want peace and quiet. The bed is wide and comfortable, not cramped. It's a heated bed. There's a hanger for clothes. There's no air conditioning in the room, but the weather is cold so it's not really needed. The only issue is when you're fully dressed, you might feel hot and uncomfortable, but it's fine once you step out of the room. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation with a curtain. The bathroom floor is a bit slippery, but the hotel provides slippers which help prevent slipping. There's no bidet spray in the bathroom, but the showerhead has a small sprayer that can be used instead. The bathroom has hot water, a heater, and ventilation. Towels are disposable. There's a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer, but no conditioner. If anything runs out, you can ask the hotel. The owner and staff are very attentive. You can book tickets for mountain activities directly with the accommodation. However, there's no signal on the mountain, so you need to bring cash or exchange money at the hotel. When going to the mountain, the hotel provides a pick-up and drop-off service, and a hotel staff member accompanies you to guide you through all the activities, making sure you have fun, haha! It's very worthwhile. Overall, it's excellent. It might not be a luxury hotel, but everything combined – the location and the beautiful views – is well worth the room price. If I come again, I'll book here.

They even came out to meet us and gave us excellent tips on where to eat, drink, and have fun, helping us avoid any tourist traps – absolutely fantastic! The room layout was very well designed and spacious. Most importantly, it was spotless and odorless, feeling just as cozy as our own home.

99936zmI highly, highly, highly recommend this guesthouse! We really value cleanliness, and this place absolutely nailed it. There wasn't a single strange smell when we walked in, and the floors were sparkling clean – everything looked super reassuring. The facilities were thoughtfully provided too. I finally got to experience sleeping on a traditional 'kang' (heated bed) from Northeast China, hahaha! I was a bit worried about the cold in the Northeast, but the room temperature was just perfect, very warm. The 24-hour hot water was incredibly convenient; it felt amazing to take a hot shower after being out in the snow. Charging outlets, a hairdryer, all these little essentials were well-stocked and incredibly handy. The service was absolutely outstanding. The owners were genuinely warm and welcoming. They proactively helped us with our luggage when we got out of the car, let us borrow traditional floral cotton coats for free, and even taught us the 'splashing water into ice' trick. When we went to Wusongling (Rime Island), the owner came along, recorded videos for us with their 360 camera, and personally sent them to us. The service was truly superb! Thanks for giving us such a wonderful trip experience in Northeast China. I'll definitely recommend this to all my friends!

GGuest UserThe best decision I made on this trip to Northeast China was choosing Shengshi Jiayuan Homestay – it truly elevated my travel experience! The moment I stepped inside, the wonderfully warm *kang* (traditional heated bed) immediately won me over. With temperatures outside dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius, the *kang* kept me toasty from my toes to the back of my head. Sleeping on it at night was incredibly comfortable and peaceful, a hundred times better than an electric blanket – truly a 'rejuvenation magic weapon.' The floral bedding, the strings of corn hanging in the room, and the delicious Northeast farmhouse cuisine all contributed to an immersive, authentic Northeastern atmosphere.
The vibe at the guesthouse was fantastic, filled with laughter from beginning to end. The biggest surprise was that a local auntie accompanied us throughout our snow activities at Wusong Ridge. We tried snowmobiling and tubing, and not only did she patiently teach us how to play, but she also helped us take amazing, atmospheric photos – she was more attentive than a friend! Her personality was cheerful and warm; she chatted with us about daily life and shared local stories, which was incredibly engaging. Any loneliness I felt from traveling solo completely vanished – she truly delivered on emotional value!
During my stay here, the warm *kang* kept me cozy, and the auntie's warmth touched my heart. The authentic Northeastern flavors and the cheerful atmosphere made it hard to leave. Whether you want to experience Northeastern folk customs or have a blast in the snow, choosing this place is absolutely the right decision. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip to the Northeast!
