Fairmont Wuhan

Had a very satisfying stay. The hotel's decor is simple yet grand, and the room was spacious with a great view. The only downside was the surrounding area, but overall it was good. Karina was attentive to our experience, and I'd definitely return to the Fairmont.

Not bad at all, definitely not as terrible as some online reviews made it out to be. I gave the environment and facilities full marks because, despite being open for seven years, everything is still very well-maintained. For service, I only interacted with the front desk, so I can't give a full rating as I didn't experience other services. As for hygiene, there was used dental floss in the bathroom trash can from the previous guest, so it wasn't cleaned properly. Plus, as soon as I entered the room, there was an odor that was either mold or cigarette smoke, so I'm deducting 0.5 points for that.

The hotel is located in the business center, with very convenient transportation nearby. The room is spacious and bright, and the facilities are all in place. Karina's service was excellent and very attentive.

Great service and excellent facilities! Karina and Rita both provided wonderful service. The breakfast spread was extensive, and ordering takeout was super convenient. I'll definitely choose Fairmont again next time I'm in Wuhan!

I'm writing this review to expose the most insincere aspect of the Fairmont Wuhan Gold's service. The initial service was acceptable, but the breakfast takeaway incident completely revealed the hotel's double standards. I requested to pack some toast, aiming for a 'no-waste' approach, but the server immediately informed me that takeaways from the buffet restaurant were not allowed. I then contacted the hotel ambassador to discuss this, and they still used 'food safety' as an excuse. I simply cannot accept this logic: if there's no safety concern when consuming food in the restaurant, why does wrapping it in a napkin and taking it away suddenly become a safety issue? Clearly, 'food safety' is a mere cover-up; what's truly behind it is the hotel's stringent cost control. This practice of not daring to admit they want to save money, but instead fabricating reasons to deceive guests, shows a great lack of sincerity. Service is not just about attitude; it's also about being reasonable. A hotel that disrespects guests' legitimate requests like this makes it very difficult for anyone to return.

This hotel is really good! The facilities are complete, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The environment is beautiful and quiet, and overall it's a pleasant stay. The bedding in the room is comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Everything is clean and tidy. It's a great place!

The doorman and concierge service was excellent; they immediately helped with our luggage and opened the door as soon as we arrived. However, the male staff member at the front desk who checked us in was quite disappointing. Once in the room, it felt stuffy, and the air conditioning system was terrible. The bathroom faucet also made a strange noise. We contacted housekeeping that evening but didn't get a response until 2 PM the next day! 😓😓 Before booking, I specifically asked the front desk about the pool water temperature and was told it would be between 29-31 degrees. The actual temperature was only 28.6 degrees, which is very unsatisfactory given the hotel's false advertising. 😡 My request to the front desk to increase the temperature wasn't properly addressed either, what a waste. For a supposed high-end hotel, they don't even allow food delivery services to bring orders to your room; you have to go down and pick it up yourself, which is incredibly inconvenient. 😡

Karina at the business hotel provided excellent service, making it very convenient for guests. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the decor was tastefully understated yet luxurious. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including doupi and hot dry noodles.

The service was excellent and very warm. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very attentive. Rita was particularly concerned about my stay experience. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance, and I've already recommended it to friends planning to visit Wuhan! 👍
