When I entered the room, it was terribly cold, the window must have been open all day. Closing the window turned out to be a challenge. My window was neither new nor soundproofed, let alone tight. It pulled in at the bottom, when I pointed this out to the gentleman at the front desk he just said to stuff toilet paper underneath. When asked why the heating wasn't working, I was told that it didn't work until 5 p.m., so I sat in a cold room for almost 1 hour. The room itself was worse than the cold. The lamp in the bed had been poorly glued on with adhesive tape, the wallpaper was gradually peeling off the wall, worn spots on the wall were only covered over with a dash of white paint in the worst possible way. The cover of the second bed had dark to black spots. It got worse in the bathroom. There was something chipped off in the toilet bowl, there was black mold on the rubber in the shower and only 2 out of 4 lights worked on the mirror, the fan in the bathroom also didn't work. The room wasn't cleaned once and the wastebasket eventually overflowed. The WiFi in the hotel was very poor and slow. There were two entrances, of which often only one worked or both didn't work. The elevator was broken at some point during my stay, if you can call it an elevator. After complaining about the noise from the guests above me (a child running stomping across the room) I was told there was nothing they could do as they were children. So I finally got another room for the last few nights, but even this wasn't much better, the paintwork was dirty, the room was cold, only a few lights worked. The only good thing was the other windows, which were airtight and soundproofed as can be on a main road. All in all I would describe it as terrible, I will not give a recommendation.
