Wuxi Yishang | View High-Rise Hotel (Sanyang Square Wuxi Railway Station Branch)

The location is fantastic, right in the city center with two malls nearby, making shopping incredibly convenient. It's just one subway stop to Sanyang Plaza, Wuxi's CBD, and not far from Nanchang Street and Huishan Ancient Town, which is super handy. Plus, the prices in Wuxi, especially for taxis, are quite reasonable. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the afternoon tea set was a real highlight; you can tell the hotel puts a lot of thought into things. Upon arrival, I received a small gift, which, though small, was a lovely touch and made me feel very welcome. The room itself was spacious, and being on the 20th floor, the night view from the window was absolutely stunning, with all the city lights twinkling. The only downside is for guests driving, as the parking situation isn't great due to its prime location. There are only 2 or 3 parking spots, and they're very cramped. Luckily, I arrived at noon and found an empty space, but leaving was tricky with limited turning room, definitely testing your driving skills! This wouldn't be an issue at all for guests arriving by high-speed train.

This hotel is just one subway stop away from Wuxi Station, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting attractions like Huishan Ancient Town and Lihu Bridge. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk staff are really friendly and helpful.

The food was fantastic, and the location is excellent. It's right next to Metro Line 1, very close to Sanyang Plaza, and there's a shopping mall behind it with a HEYTEA on the first floor, making it super convenient for meals and drinks. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It was quiet, pleasant, very clean, and a lot of fun. The front desk agent who checked us in was so thoughtful and upgraded our room for us. It was absolutely wonderful, and we had a very pleasant stay!

I can't take it anymore, this is my first time writing a hotel review. I've stayed in hotels before that had minor flaws, and I just put up with them, but this hotel is so unbelievably bad. Two words: DON'T COME!!! Absolutely do not trust its ratings; its high scores are 100% fake. First, the environment: the room itself looks nothing like the rendered images – not even close. The floor was covered in black stains, the walls were filthy, and overall, it felt like a cheap, rundown room that shouldn't cost more than $15. What's most infuriating is the unbelievably poor soundproofing. I could hear every snore from the next room, every sound of people getting ready in the morning (I could even clearly hear the sound of a toothbrush holder being placed on the counter). I barely got any sleep last night because of the snoring, and then I was woken up by the deafening sound of water running from next door in the morning?! You can listen to the sound in the first video; I'm not exaggerating at all. It made me feel like the hotel walls have absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever – none! I can't in good conscience say it felt like sharing a room with the next door, because in reality, the noise from next door felt amplified as it entered my ears!! And there was a faint but constant smell of smoke from the moment I entered the room. In summary, it's a huge rip-off. Please believe the authenticity of this, my first ever long negative review, which I angrily wrote in one go after being woken up by the neighbors' noise this morning. A Chinese person wouldn't lie to another Chinese person!

The shared elevator with other companies and office buildings was a bit inconvenient. The room cleaning and tidying schedule was inconsistent. The location on Zhongshan Road is great, very lively. There wasn't much service beyond check-in and check-out.

The room amenities matched the hotel description. The shower had great water pressure, and breakfast was decent for the price. The best part is the hotel's excellent location; it's just 200 meters from Exit 3 of Shengli Men subway station, and there are many bus stops nearby, making it super convenient to get anywhere.
