Magnotel Hotel (Wuxi Xibei Xinjiekou)

I've stayed here several times, and each time, finding my way around is like a maze. The cleanliness is only average, and the service definitely needs improvement. This morning, I was pricked on the leg while sleeping, only to discover a dried rice grain on the duvet cover. When I brought it up with the front desk, they asked why I hadn't mentioned it sooner. It's not as if I can examine the duvet cover with a microscope the moment I check into the room, is it? I was merely reporting the issue, but they acted as if I were trying to claim compensation. Furthermore, when I checked out just over half an hour late, the front desk staff was quite rude and insisted on an extra charge.

The young lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She patiently offered excellent recommendations for local dining and entertainment, and the surrounding area itself is very pleasant. Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, the lobby had a wonderful aroma, and the facilities felt quite new. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we'd absolutely return!

Instead of facing the May Day crowds, I chose Wuxi to learn horse riding. The equestrian center was only a few kilometers from the hotel, and given that it's a Jinjiang brand, I opted to stay here. Overall, the service was quite good, and the environment felt peaceful. Transportation mainly relied on taxis or driving. A nice touch was the robot delivery for takeaways, and key card access to guest floors provided an added layer of security. My only minor critiques: The window in our audio-visual room was partially obstructed. While this was disclosed during booking and is common for this room type (and it was still great for watching movies with the AC on, so it wasn't stuffy), it's worth noting. Also, I observed many families with kids, but the hotel didn't provide children's toothbrushes or slippers. It would be beneficial if they could stock a small supply. Breakfast was a tad simple, and during peak times, the replenishment seemed to struggle a bit. Despite these few points, I was generally satisfied and would definitely consider staying here again.

Cleanliness: Spotless. Facilities: Modern and well-maintained. Service: Excellent, very friendly and welcoming. Location: Excellent, with plenty of local eateries and supermarkets nearby, making it extremely convenient. Free parking is a big plus. Breakfast was plentiful, and the freshly made soy milk was particularly delicious! They also have a fitness center, which is a fantastic amenity.

Satisfied with the stay, it was pretty good.

I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel's ambiance was wonderful; it felt brand new, as if it had just undergone a renovation. The breakfast spread was also incredibly generous. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I have the opportunity. Absolutely fantastic!
