Wuyi Mountain Mingxi Hall Tea House

This guesthouse was a truly delightful surprise! The location is great, with convenient transportation and a very quiet surrounding area, perfect for relaxing. The room was decorated very warmly, clean, and tidy. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, even recommending some nearby attractions and local food, which was a very nice touch. Relaxing on the guesthouse terrace with a cup of tea was so comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience a slower pace of life!

The B&B is conveniently located in the heart of the resort area, close to the food street. They also offer parking, and the owner even asked in advance if we were driving and provided a charging spot – very thoughtful! Our one-day trip turned into three, and the owner upgraded us to a larger room. Since we hadn't brought essentials for the extended stay, she kindly provided them. As we entered the lobby, a fluffy little white dog greeted us, and it even played with me during breakfast. The breakfast was good too: Da Hong Pao tea eggs, flat noodles, and a variety of side dishes. We also got to try Da Hong Pao tea and bought a small amount. My family said finding such authentic tea in Wuyishan added a lot of joy to our trip!

The room was spacious and clean, with a tea table where you could experience Wuyishan tea culture. The owner even gave us two complimentary brews of tea, which were delicious! 👍

Fantastic! Very clean. Although it was Chinese New Year and the staff were off, the landlady took excellent care of us. Definitely worth the stay! We were even lucky enough to enjoy a New Year's Eve dinner cooked by the landlady herself – wonderful! It felt like family. The local tea was undoubtedly excellent, and the landlady's prices were very reasonable. My husband bought a lot of tea to take back as gifts for friends. We are so grateful for the family-like holiday we had!

This was the most satisfying guesthouse of the trip. There was parking available, an elevator, and a great location. The owner even reminded us to book tickets for the bamboo raft and the Impression Dahongpao show. The family room with its double and single beds was very comfortable. We stayed for five nights. The Hong Kong landlady was incredibly welcoming, inviting us to have New Year's Eve dinner with her. We chatted and drank tea every day, feeling like old friends. The guesthouse's little dog was also extremely cute; we were reluctant to leave and even received a small gift 🎁🎁

This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations. It was very cheap, but the decor showed a lot of care. It had a garden, a small living room, and a tea bar. The rooms were large and high-ceilinged, so there was no feeling of being cramped. They were also very new; the cabinets were all solid wood, in a modern Chinese style. It was New Year's Eve, but it was very affordable. They even upgraded my room. It truly exceeded my expectations; you should definitely book it without hesitation. Trust me.

Highly recommend! The guesthouse is located halfway up a mountain, accessible by taxi. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly kind and offers free shuttle service! Plus, she's a great cook; the breakfast selection is amazing, and my husband and I ate until we were stuffed every day! 😄 The tea at the guesthouse is also delicious. She even gave us a souvenir when we left—truly a wonderful experience for our trip! I'll definitely come back next time!!!

We stayed at their place for two days during our trip to Wuyishan, and both of the two room types were great. It's especially suitable for families. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it's exactly the same as the pictures the owner uploaded. The room was very clean, with no unpleasant smells or cigarette smoke. The owner must have spent a lot of money on the renovation 😁, we didn't want to get out of bed! We brought our toddler, who looked a little over a week old, and the owner made a separate lunch for him – we were so grateful!
