Mengwuyi Boutique Homestay (Wuyishan Scenic Area South Entrance Branch)

The hotel was comfortable and well-located, with a convenient bus stop nearby offering free rides to the park entrance. However, I was deeply disturbed to find a neglected cat on the top floor. This sweet, friendly cat was tied up in a dirty environment, with barely any room to move, his litter box was full of feces and his water bowl was filthy— seems like his water hasn’t been refreshed in over a week. The cat was banned to the top floor because he doesn’t get along with the hotel’s new dog who runs around freely downstairs. No animal deserves to live like this. To the hotel owners: Please improve this cat’s living conditions, give him the care and attention he deserves, or please find him a new loving home. To future guests: If you see this cat, please check on his well-being.

It was a great stay! The host is very helpful and lovely! The inn is conveniently located near a bus stop where you can take a free bus to the park and at a cute street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket downstairs and the owner sells delicious tea too. There is a washing machine that you can use and a terrace where you can dry your laundry. The room was very clean and all amenities were provided. I totally recommend this place to have a nice and peaceful stay in Wuyishan!

The owners are delightful people! They came out and met us at the main road to help us find the way and helped us get transportation to the train station. The room was small but nicely decorated and quiet and comfortable. It was exactly what we wanted. It's on a pedestrian street with pretty lights, tea shops, and tasty restaurants.

Had a great stay! Room was clean and comfortable, stocked with basic amenities. Location was very convenient as public transportation stops (bus and tram) were nearby. The national park’s entrance was less than 10 mins away by bus and I never had to wait more than 5 mins for a bus to arrive. There’s also a convenience store downstairs. But it was the owners’ hospitality that made the stay for me. They were so helpful with recommendations and bookings. Be sure to try and bring home some of their teas!
