Wuyishan Yunhai Banduo Villa (Sangu Resort Impression Dahongpao Theater Store)

Five-star review! The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, well-lit, and quiet, with plenty of hot water and good soundproofing. The landlady is incredibly warm and friendly, and she offers great sightseeing tips. The guesthouse also serves lunch and dinner; the chef is highly skilled, and the dishes use quality ingredients. Whether it's home-style cooking or local specialties, everything exceeds expectations. In the afternoons and evenings, the owner often invites guests to enjoy tea, which is delightful! This guesthouse offers excellent value for money.

The room was decent, and we got an upgrade to a 270-degree view room, overlooking Dawang Peak and the Impression Dahongpao show, which was a nice view. The landlady was very welcoming. The facilities are over 10 years old, so there are some signs of age. One suggestion: the disposable toothbrushes could be higher quality, they weren't comfortable to use. There seems to be a military airport nearby, as we saw fighter jets flying training drills. Overall, Wuyishan doesn't have any exceptionally stunning scenery, but for a family trip, spending 2 to 3 relaxing days there is okay. We took the 8 AM bamboo raft ride and watched Impression Dahongpao, which is a matter of personal taste. We climbed Tianyou Peak, which has over 800 steps, and it was quite tiring, taking almost 2 hours. Afterwards, we went to Dahongpao to see the mother tea trees. On the way home, we stopped by Fish Pond Cafe. It took about 20 minutes to get there; it was just okay, not many people at noon, they said it gets busier in the evening.

The room was very clean, and the landlady was very welcoming. You could even see the view right from the room.

The B&B owner was super friendly and even offered a pick-up service, making the journey from the high-speed rail station to the B&B really convenient and quick. The breakfast had a great variety, and there were plenty of entertainment facilities. Plus, it's really close to the Wuyishan scenic area.

The B&B owner was incredibly welcoming. They upgraded us to a family room when it wasn't busy, which was a nice surprise. The room was spotless. They also gave us great recommendations for local attractions and dining. We could even enjoy tea on the villa's first floor. On our second day, we had an early bamboo raft ride, and to our surprise, breakfast was available as early as 6 AM and it was quite substantial! Overall, it was a very satisfying family trip.

The owner was so kind and upgraded us to a duplex room with a balcony. It's super close to Impression Dahongpao, right across the street. We had an early train, and they thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take with us. The hotel environment is also great. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit!

I originally booked this place just for the pick-up service, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great my stay turned out to be. The environment and decor are very thoughtfully arranged, with lush greenery and succulents flourishing around the property. Sister Lian, the owner, is incredibly hands-on and accommodating, always ready to help and very generous. Guests can freely enjoy tea breaks and use various items in the activity spaces, especially the different kinds of Wuyi rock tea. Breakfast is a buffet, and while the dishes are homely, there's a good variety that changes daily. Cutlery is self-service from the sterilizer cabinet. On the day we checked out, the owner even personally drove us to the light rail station.

This was my second stay at the Wuyishan Yunhai Banduo Hotel, and once again, I was deeply touched by the genuine warmth of Sister Lian, the owner. As an experienced railway passenger service professional, I have a deeper understanding of what good service entails, and Sister Lian truly goes above and beyond for every guest. Her dedication to welcoming and seeing guests off is exceptional; she works tirelessly and cares for each traveler's stay experience as if they were family. The environment and hygiene are, needless to say, excellent, and the small courtyard is charming and cozy. The breakfast is delicious and feels just like home. I'll definitely come back for another relaxing vacation if I get the chance.
