Sumin Hotel

The hotel breakfast was amazing! Rows and rows of dishes, both Chinese and Western, some even freshly cooked – it's like a five-star hotel! The room was also great; I slept very comfortably, and the balcony offered a view of Mount Taiwang. A truly excellent value trip.

The smell of smoke on the curtains in the room was incredibly strong! I specifically requested that the room be smoke-free before checking in because I was having a child stay with me! As a result, I couldn't sleep every night because of the smoke. For the entire three-day trip, I had headaches and felt dizzy because of the poor sleep caused by the smoke. The smell of smoke makes it impossible to sleep and causes headaches!

This is the first time I've ever had such a frustrating hotel stay. Is the hotel air conditioner malfunctioning? It was incredibly noisy, running for about 10 minutes and then stopping for 5 minutes! I woke up at 4:56 and couldn't fall back asleep. My entire day of travel was ruined by not getting enough sleep. I'm so grateful I didn't completely lose my temper in the hotel! As for other issues, the yellowish bathtub and having to shower on it are nothing compared to not getting enough sleep!

Wuyishan City is home to a large live-action theater: the Dahongpao Theater, which is impressively located near the Sumin Hotel and backed by the Dawang Peak. I'd long heard that the hotel's facilities and service were excellent, so I chose to stay at the Sumin Hotel during my trip to Wuyishan. The hotel's cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities included a swimming pool and gym. The food was also delicious and satisfying. Overall, I'll definitely stay here again.
