Wyndham Garden Wuyishan

Booked a 2-night stay in a superior room, and the check-in experience was indeed quite disappointing at first. I really recommend booking a deluxe room instead. The difference in quality, whether it's cleanliness or in-room facilities, is significant. Initially, I just thought it was a matter of different styles, but that's not the case at all. When I reported the issue to the hotel, they promptly upgraded and changed my room. This was a very appropriate solution. The price difference between the two room types isn't much, so I absolutely recommend the deluxe room. Manager Li from the hotel's business department was incredibly helpful. I asked him to assist with purchasing tickets for the 'Impression Dahongpao' show, and for the same price category, the seats he got were absolutely fantastic. I was very satisfied; the viewing experience was excellent. The hotel's pool and hot spring facilities are also great. If it weren't for the initial issue with the superior room, it would have been a perfectly superb experience! The location is also very good, convenient for getting anywhere.

The room wasn't very clean and needed a deep clean, but the facilities were excellent. The bathroom was new, made of marble. It's a hot spring hotel, and the hot springs were very clean, almost every other morning they'd clean the pools, which was reassuring to see. The hotel environment was comfortable, and we got a room upgrade close to the swimming pool. As for the not-so-good experiences, the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, which was acceptable. However, there was no ketchup, the coffee machine was out of order, and on one day, there was no orange juice or milk, and they weren't refilled. This doesn't really live up to a 4-star hotel standard.

The hotel environment is great, and having an underground parking lot is very convenient. The bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. The only downside to the room is that the air conditioning vent, whether upstairs or downstairs, blows directly onto the head of the bed. If you don't mind that, the hotel is quite good. The hotel also has a travel service center, and I'm not sure if it's officially part of the hotel, but they were incredibly helpful in getting us bamboo raft tickets for the next day when they were supposedly sold out. That was fantastic!

The facilities are a bit old, and the air conditioning is noisy and not very effective. Aside from the front desk, the staff are all quite friendly; the restaurant staff and those we met around the property were all very nice. The pool and hot spring were quite crowded.

First off, a big thank you to Wyndham Garden for the complimentary Oreos upon check-in! **Location:** It's a bit out of the way, but perfect for travelers who prefer peace and quiet. It's also very convenient for accessing the south entrance of the scenic area. **Room & Amenities:** The room facilities are comprehensive, including a hot spring pool and a gym, which really adds to guests' leisure time. My room type came with a drying rack, and the wardrobe was huge. However, some of the hangers in the wardrobe were a bit wonky, and the hairdryer in my room type was missing its nozzle. I'd recommend the hotel do a full check of all room types for this. **Breakfast:** The breakfast was rich and varied, and I loved that the breakfast restaurant had a kids' play area. My only minor suggestion would be to increase the variety of porridges. **Services:** The hotel offers pick-up/drop-off services, but you need to book them a day in advance. **Suggestions for Improvement:** I also suggest that the hotel display its awards more prominently, rather than keeping them locked away. It would be great if the mini-fridge in the rooms could be stocked with some carbonated drinks and low-alcohol beverages instead of being empty. The front desk area is a bit small. On a positive note, the fruit section at breakfast was excellent! As a small request for breakfast, could you possibly add some local Bian Rou (wontons) to the live cooking station? Looking forward to my next stay at Wyndham Garden Scenic South Entrance!

The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute taxi ride to the south entrance of the scenic area! The environment is lovely, with hot springs and a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after hiking. You can even see the scenic area from afar, and I could even spot Dawang Peak, haha. Highly recommended~

A wonderful stay that exceeded my expectations! This is a large hotel with excellent facilities and hardware, and the service was warm and attentive. The room amenities were great, the shower had strong water pressure, and the mattress was comfortable. The balcony was fantastic, even having a drying rack for clothes. The hot spring water downstairs was lovely, and the breakfast was superb. I'll definitely be staying here again in the future.
