Really nice place, with a view directly across the mountain, beautiful and serene. The lobby is lovely, and there’s a huge, very friendly dog that enjoys being petted. In the mornings, I could see it returning from its walks by the river. We had amazing walks in the nearby reserve, just five minutes away by Didi. The owners were friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is adding a chair in the room. I wanted to work, but had to sit on the Japanese tatami at a low tea table, which was less comfortable.

This hotel was in a great location by the river, really close to Song Street/Wuyi Palace entrance and stop, as well as other popular tea houses in the area! The view from the room is lovely! The main floor is beautifully decorated (and their cute pet Samoyed hangs around sometimes).

Before my trip, I scoured all the hotels in the Sangu area of Wuyishan, but none of them quite hit the mark. Then, I saw the view from this place and booked it instantly. Sipping tea by the window, I didn't even need to bother going to a teahouse. Strolling along the stream was so relaxing, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is also fantastic, with the old street right behind it. I highly recommend Da San Wan and Zhou Shifu restaurant! There are also all sorts of breakfast and snack shops. I particularly recommend the lean meat soup from Yuan Ziwei Snack Shop (a small bowl is enough for two people). They add cuttlefish and mushroom broth, which makes it incredibly fresh and flavorful. Pair it with the 'xiaoguangbing' (mini flatbreads) from the shop next door – 9 pieces for 10 yuan. They're delicious whether hot or cold, simply perfect!

The B&B's decor is very stylish, with great attention to detail, making it perfect for photos. The room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a very relaxing stay. Great location with plenty of eateries just a short walk away. The host shared her vast knowledge on tea. We also enjoyed a wonderful tea appreciation session, where we learned about different teas and experienced a relaxing tea tasting. The inn offers a beautiful mountain view, making the stay incredibly calming and therapeutic — perfect for a getaway with friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing holiday.

Very amicable welcome of the host. They cared about every detail of our stay and were very helpful. We regret to have to leave after such a short stay. We hope to come back soon again. This is the place to stay if you want mountain view and easy access to night market (it’s just one street away)! I’ll recommend to add the hotel on WeChat prior to your checkin to get the location for transport to drop you off as the walking street is closed to traffic. Appreciate the hotel in helping to arrange for my private transport as I was unable to advance book one as I didn’t have a local mobile number. (I had to discount the cleanliness as there was a stain on one of the provided towels)
