Staying at Qingyun Mountain Residence felt like finding a home away from home. The owner was like a long-lost aunt who adopted me during my stay, she planned my itinerary, checked on me every evening, gave me medicine when I tripped on a hike, taught me how to appreciate and make tea, and even cooked for me. Every detail was so thoughtful and full of warmth. I truly didn’t want to leave and almost cancelled my other plans just to stay longer. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel cared for in a way hotels never can, a hidden gem filled with heart. 住在青云山居的感觉就像找到了另一个家。老板娘就像久违的亲人，在我入住期间照顾得无微不至, 帮我安排行程、每天晚上关心我、登山摔倒时还给我药、教我品茶、做茶，甚至亲自下厨做饭。每一个细节都充满温暖与真心。真的非常舍不得离开，差点想取消后面的行程多住几天。这是那种让人感受到“被照顾”的地方，比酒店更有温度，是一处充满人情味的宝藏民宿。

Lovely host who offered us to drink tea, and always was in for a chat. She helped us where she could and was always ready to help.

Our stay, from check-in to check-out, was absolutely perfect. The little thoughtful touches in the room were really impressive, and the toiletries were all high-quality. The facilities were excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. The host was incredibly welcoming but also gave us our space, making us feel right at home, just like staying with a friend. Highly recommend!

Ms He is not only familiar with the attractions in and around Wu Yi Shan, she is also familiar with outdoor and community activities as she is actively participating in local events. Thanks to the information and recommendations she provided, I was able to narrow down to selected attractions related to my interests as a foreign tourist. Comfortable mattress, strong water pressure with plenty of hot water in the shower, and a relaxing surrounding to wind down and chill after a long day of walking and hiking. Not to mention the delicious home cooked breakfast and tea I had during my stay. The view from the rooftop is awesome. The Old Street, where the food stalls and restaurants are, is just a 10-minute walk away. I'm glad I made the right decision to stay within the scenic area.

This was the most amazing homestay I have ever experienced. The beautiful mountains, lovely tea, and friendly company (even though I was travelling solo) were great elements for an awesome getaway from the bustling city life. I would like to thank the manager (何姐) and cleaning/cook staff (张姐) for their utmost hospitality. I highly recommend taking a leisurely stay at Wuyishan at Qingyun Mountain Residence!

Amazing hotel close to the National Park. The hotel is located in a quiet area just across the bridge from Sangu. The owner is really friendly. She invited us multiple times to drink tea with her and explained to us the whole process of drinking gonfu style tea. I was able to try multiple teas which I really liked. The breakfast they serve is good and fresh. It is recommended to stay here! 特别谢谢老板 有机会我们会和家人再来的

We had a really lovely stay at the hotel. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Gave us tips on Wuyishan. She invited us to sample some of her tea which were of very good quality. Would definitely recommend this little gem!

Well designed, clean and comfortable with extremely helpful host

The landlady was incredibly welcoming and attentive, even upgrading my room free of charge, making for a fantastic stay. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The surrounding area is quiet, with a courtyard and tea room, and conveniently located at the foot of Wuyi Mountain. Overall, it was a warm and comfortable place, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The hotel has a great location. First, it's very close to the Sangu Resort Area, making dining convenient. Second, it's very close to Wuyi Palace, about 1 kilometer away, which is within walking distance if you're feeling adventurous. The owner is also very nice, and the stay was comfortable. Going to the top floor to have tea and look out over Dawang Peak was so pleasant! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Wuyishan.

I highly recommend this hidden gem of a guesthouse at the foot of Dawang Peak – Qingyun Mountain Residence! You'll definitely regret not coming sooner! I stay here every time I visit; the location is absolutely superb. The guesthouse is right at the foot of Dawang Peak, the location is incredible! The terrace faces Dawang Peak directly. I wake up in the morning to see the misty peaks, and at night I stargaze from the terrace. This immersive experience is truly therapeutic. It's not just about seeing the mountains, it's about living in the mountains. The rooms are huge, with excellent natural light. The biggest surprise is the small tea table in the room! Brewing a pot of local rock tea in the evening, gazing at the mountains and water outside the window, instantly washes away the fatigue of the journey. This feeling of bringing the mountains and water into your life is wonderful. The guesthouse breakfast is plentiful! Multigrain porridge, red dates and goji berries, sweet potato buns, and hot soy milk – everything is warm and thoughtfully prepared. A full meal gives you plenty of energy for hiking, and you'll feel incredibly happy. The guesthouse owner is incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the trip. When visiting Wuyishan, you must stay here for a relaxing vacation, enjoying the warmth of home while immersing yourself in the beauty of Wuyishan.

This guesthouse has a wonderful environment; the mornings are filled with mist, which is very soothing. The rooms are also very clean, and the owner is very honest and kind. Most importantly, their tea is absolutely amazing—fragrant, delicious, and the more you savor it, the better it becomes. I drank it every day during my stay and never got tired of it. I even took some back with me to give to my family before leaving.
