I stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming. I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking. One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore. I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection. My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.

The room was very clean and offered great privacy, perfect for a family trip. It's also super convenient for visiting the scenic area, and the surroundings are quiet, so you won't be disturbed.

1. **Location & Ambiance:** Nestled within the Wunvzhou scenic area, this standalone villa is right next to the Tea Saint Museum. It's tucked away amidst tea gardens and ancient trees, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. Guests have easy access to night views, the Golden Pavilion, traditional iron flower performances, and fireworks shows. The scenic shuttle bus conveniently drops you off directly at the villa entrance. 2. **Room Type & Atmosphere:** The hotel boasts a strong tea culture theme. Rooms are spacious, many featuring balconies or small courtyards, complete with tea sets and tatami mats. Bathrooms are designed with separate wet and dry areas, ensuring privacy. It's an ideal choice for families and couples on vacation. 3. **Service Reputation:** Most guests praise the front desk and butler service for being proactive and enthusiastic. They communicate check-in details in advance, inform guests about scenic area activities, and provide parking information. Lost items are promptly mailed back, and shuttle drivers are considerate. Guests often receive complimentary welcome fruits upon arrival.

First off, out of the three attractions we visited, this one was by far the most disappointing. There wasn't much to experience, and the environment was very run-of-the-mill. Secondly, we had a child with us who was just over 1.2 meters, but definitely under 1.3 meters. At other attractions, kids this height usually get in free. Here, they actually brought out a ruler to measure our child's height and demanded a child's ticket. Honestly, it was pretty speechless. If that's the case, there's absolutely no point in staying inside the scenic area. Thirdly, in our room, three of us showered at night, and by the time it was the child's turn, there was no hot water left. We contacted a service agent, only to be told they needed to heat the water from scratch. We waited for ages, and our child was freezing.

The rooms are pretty good, and the individual bungalows are quiet. It's a bit out of the way though, so a shuttle bus is needed.

The room was spacious with a large balcony, offering great views and a quiet atmosphere. Since the resort is quite large, the shuttle service was our preferred way to get around. Finally, I'd like to mention the excellent service, especially thanking Xiao Li at the front desk for bringing my forgotten headphones to me 🥹🥹. The cleaning lady, Aunt Jinzhi Dan, was also very warm and even gave us sachets.

Would be helpful if the hotel provide the agenda of the attractions with the proper location and the time of the performances, then the guests will be able to enjoy the most. The Wi-Fi connection needs to be improved! The rest are perfect!

Family of 6 with 2 children and a young baby. The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage. We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort. The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up. On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's. A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about. By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open. It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
