Wunvzhou Dreamless Lake Resort Hotel

Cleanliness: Generally quite clean, no major issues. Facilities: Poor. For the price of over a thousand, the value for money is very low. The bed is tiny, only 1.2 meters wide. The shower and toilet have no ventilation, so if someone uses the toilet, the smell lingers, and others in the room have to go to the balcony for ten minutes or so. It's really awkward. The soundproofing is extremely poor; you can hear guests in the next room clearly. In the middle of the night, I was forced to listen to an argument between the next room and the one after that, and the front desk had to intervene. There's almost no soundproofing at all; I suspect there are no actual walls, just cardboard partitions. The slightest noise in the hallway is very loud, making it impossible to get proper rest. Also, the sink is very close to the bed, so water splashes onto the bed when you wash your hands. Service: The service was attentive and the attitude was good. Things we requested were brought quickly. Environment: Located within the scenic area, good for night views. The breakfast buffet at 78 per person is not worth buying.

Upon arrival, I was directed to a distant parking lot. After circling around, I had to firmly insist that I was a hotel guest before they finally allowed me to use the underground parking. The windows in the scenic view room weren't clean, so I had to wipe them myself with a towel. There were no feminine hygiene products or emergency medicine for children's diarrhea. Even for food delivery, I had to go to the front desk to pick it up myself. In short, it was all self-service.

The hotel is pretty standard, but its location is excellent since it's inside the scenic area. It's very close to both the fire and iron flower performances, and the night view is great. As for the room facilities themselves, they are quite basic. The cleanliness was a bit concerning, possibly due to the heavy rain on the day I checked in.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the scenic lake. We got to see the spectacular fireworks and iron-flower performance at night. Breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of options. It's also very car-friendly. After breakfast, the park wasn't crowded, allowing us to slowly enjoy the garden scenery. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

I specifically booked a room with a view, but didn't realize the balcony was enclosed, so I could only see through the glass. If I wanted to take photos or videos, I had to go to the hotel terrace. It felt a bit pointless to book this view room, and I blame myself for not looking closely at the room layout when I made the reservation. There isn't much to do in the scenic area during the day, but it's quite pleasant to walk around and enjoy the sunshine when the weather is good. The scenic area, which didn't look like much during the day, was completely transformed once the lights came on at night. That's when I understood why so many people rushed there in the evening. The night view and various performances and activities are definitely worth seeing; it feels like a lot of effort went into them. The hotel itself was satisfactory. The front desk staff, Xiao Wang, was very enthusiastic and answered all our questions. Staying within the scenic area was quite relaxing and leisurely, perfect for people like us who don't like rushing to check off various attractions.

This time, I visited Wunvzhou with my child alone and stayed at the Wumeng Boutique Hotel, which is located right within the resort area. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Wuyuan Station to the resort's visitor service center, so it's quite close. Upon arrival, you first do a preliminary check-in at the visitor service center outside, and then take a shuttle bus from the entrance. The bus takes you through the entire resort. The Wumeng Boutique Hotel seems to be the furthest hotel inside the resort. Our package included one night at the hotel, unlimited shuttle bus rides, and a ticket for a sculling boat (only one ticket per room; if another person wants to ride, they have to buy their own ticket). We also got to play at the Kids' Fun Hall once. The Bird Paradise is currently closed, apparently for renovations, so now there's a semi-outdoor Kids' Fun Hall. It's quite large, and the play equipment is big and fun. The only downside was that my child had the place to himself; there were no other kids to play with. I also felt that the facilities in this Kids' Fun Hall weren't well-maintained; they were rusty. If it were properly maintained, with the added bonus of the weather or scenery, it would actually be a great place for kids to burn off energy. The hotel's style, rather than being a hotel, felt more like a poetic guesthouse, with a touch of Huizhou architecture. However, I felt that even though it hasn't been open for long, it wasn't well taken care of. The hotel has these large white walls and dim lighting, making it feel not very bright or clean. Our room was on the 5th floor. It wasn't very large, but the view outside the window was quite beautiful and expansive. One issue was that the bedside tables on either side of the bed were too small; you couldn't put anything on them. Also, the sound insulation in the room was very poor. The gap under the door was also very big, so at night, you could see light from outside filtering in. The aunts next door were chatting and laughing loudly in the middle of the night, and my child and I hardly got any sleep. The next morning was the same, with banging noises from outside. Overall, when visiting Wunvzhou, any hotel within the scenic area would be fine; the location doesn't make much difference. Just choose the style or room type you prefer. On a side note, the hotel breakfast wasn't very good. The pastries and steamed buns were all processed products, and the juice and soy milk were reconstituted. I didn't dare give them to my child. We could only eat the freshly made mixed noodles or soup noodles.

This hotel is located deep within Wunvzhou Scenic Area, offering a great experience. They provide shuttle service, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The front desk staff were attentive and thoughtful, and we even received complimentary welcome fruit. Very satisfied!

This hotel is located inside the Wunvzhou Resort. You can get there by taking the resort's shuttle bus from the visitor center. The room is very spacious, but the overall decor feels a bit average, and the facilities are quite standard compared to other five-star hotels. However, it's definitely the best hotel within the scenic area. There's an observation deck on the second floor, which is the best spot to watch the iron flower show at night. The breakfast selection was also just average, especially when compared to other five-star hotels. The scenic area itself is quite fun with lots of activities.

The hotel is very comfortable, with quiet detached villas and beautiful scenery. It's very close to Baoyu Pagoda, making it perfect for night view photos and videos. Dining within the scenic area is also very convenient, with delicious specialty stir-fries that are full of 'wok hei' ( smoky, charred flavor).
