Our stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe. I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

Room is clean and very convenient to walk to 婺女州theme park. The owner is very friendly too.

Hello. We are a couple from Holland and are spending our third week of our vacation in China in Huangling cun. We planned to only spend one night in Huangling but we were enjoying ourselves here so much that we extended our stay with an extra night. The B&B is located at the top of the mountain and our room at the B&B was also on the topfloor. The hallways on each floor and the room itself are tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. The room is fully equipped. All is looking tidy and sparkling clean. The door next gives access to a roof terrace with laundry facilities and wiring for hanging clothes to dry. The boss (Mme Zhan) gave us a warm welcome and came down the mountain to pick us up where the taxi driver could not go any further up. Although we booked the Tatami room she suggested us to move into the room next door. That one comes with a balcony. We gladly accepted her advice. After having refreshed ourselves in the room she showed us the footpath up the mountain that leads to the entrance. She told us to contact her via Wechat at the end of the evening so that she could bring us back to the hotel again. The next morning she brought us down the mountain so that we could have breakfast near the bus station. from there we could easily take the bus to another beautiful old village in the neighbourhood, Likeng. The boss dropped us off and wished us a good day. We did not know that while we were eating the went back up to the B&B and came down again to bring us an umbrella to provide shelter from rain or sunshine. We did not request this. We very much appreciated this kind and polite gesture. We had a great time in Huangling village on our first day. Our second day was in Likeng village. The atmosphere in Likeng was very relaxing. It felt really authentic and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you boss and thank you all fine people in Huangling village and Likeng village. We had the time of our lives in your beautiful villages 😍

The stay experience was perfect! The environment of the homestay is exquisite and elegant, the rooms are spacious and bright, with original wooden Chinese style, smart devices, and panoramic bathtubs, which are convenient, smart and have beautiful views. The butler service was considerate and thoughtful. Not only did they take the initiative to introduce the attractions and provide pick-up and drop-off, but they also cooked a bowl of noodles for us when we were hungry. It was so warm. The most amazing thing is the open-air swimming pool and courtyard teahouse built by the river. You can drink tea and watch the stars at night and enjoy the river view in the morning, as if you are in a painting. The location is also very convenient, close to the high-speed rail station and Wunuzhou Scenic Area. The surrounding area is quiet but can quickly reach popular attractions. Both the hardware facilities and the humanistic care are far beyond expectations. It is definitely an ideal residence for a trip to Wuyuan!

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating; they helped me change rooms and even offered some complimentary tea. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a forest park, perfect for a relaxing stroll. There are numerous tea houses and dining options nearby, and it's also close to the station.

The hotel is very conspicuous at the traffic light intersection, and parking is very convenient at the door. The beautiful reception lady was very friendly. When I entered the door, I asked if I wanted to drink Tremella soup. I was full from the buffet that day, otherwise I really wanted to have a bowl to moisten my throat. The internal environment is clean and fresh, and the Xiaodu voice smart room was upgraded for free. The children were also very happy! There were also two packs of small cakes and two cups of yogurt that I forgot to take pictures of. The stay experience was very pleasant! I recently stayed at Huan Xiu Homestay and had a wonderful experience. The inn’s serene setting and blend of traditional and modern decor made for a peaceful retreat. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The amenities were excellent, offering both relaxation and cultural experiences. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent hospitality and helpful local tips. The breakfast experience was superb, with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Huan Xiu Inn and highly recommend it.

Very charming landscape of the property so we enjoyed taking lots of pictures there. Unfortunately, it was heavy rain on the night we stayed plus the day after so we didn’t go out to Wuyuan Huanglin as planned. We liked the food there a lot, the cooks are so nice and kind. Also they dropped us to Wuyuan Train Station. Hope to return on a sunny day.
