This is essentially a business college, Henley Business College, but it also operates as a hotel. The rooms are great, not huge, but with enough space, spotlessly clean, with a decent sized bathroom, or should I say shower room, as I don't think any of the rooms have baths. A Nespresso machine, teas and biscuits. All of the rooms are in separate buildings to the main college/house, with the bar and restaurant situated in the main house. If you book a top floor room, you can also have a balcony, worth the extra expense as they looked great. The only thing I found a little disconcerting is that if you stay in a ground floor room, there are footpaths around the outside of the buildings, and people can see in. When getting changed, the blinds need to be closed. Food at breakfast is very plentiful, with a good selection of continental and hot food. You won't go hungry. One of the things you need to be aware of is that during the week, breakfast finishes at 9am. This seems early, but you have to remember that this is first and foremost a college, and hours are worked around the students. This is fine. You can also have an evening meal. Staff are very polite, friendly and efficient. When my partner and I checked in, the lady on reception took us outside to show us exactly where we needed to park that was closest to our room. That doesn't happen very often. The grounds are beautiful, made even more so because they run alongside the River Thames. You'll see boats on the river, and people walking, cycling, running on the opposite bank. The footpath there goes all the way into Henley on Thames, a 10 minute drive away. The grounds are spacious, with an outdoor chess set. In the summer, the restaurant doors open out onto the terrace, where you can sit and eat/drink at the tables and chairs arranged. A wonderful place to stay, away from all the hustle and bustle of the town, but close enough to reach it easily. A bus passes by which takes you into Henley. Would highly recommend.

Superb hotel. We spent one night here and loved it so much we booked the following weekend for two nights. The setting is quite exquisite nestled on the banks of the Thames. The parkland is vast and beautifully maintained. The courtyard outside the hotel room is landscaped with lily ponds and raised beds. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. Breakfast buffet is well chosen and cooked breakfasts very fresh. We will definitely return.

Stayed for a week for the Regatta. Can confirm that the hotel is walkable to town and the rowing venue via the footpath. We walked in every day (and back most evenings) and it was a highlight. One can also easily take the bus, or taxi. The breakfast is very good with most everything on offer - selections do not change, however. The staff in the dining room are particularly friendly and helpful. The lounge (coffee, tea, cocoa, with a full bar opening at 5pm) made for a perfect stop during the afternoons. We ordered off the brasserie menu one evening and the quality was excellent. The room does get stuffy - windows do open, with no screens - a little off putting in our first floor room right near the door. But, there’s a small fan and a larger one can be requested. Too many charging/computer ports to count. Wifi was strong in the buildings. The hotel was very accommodating of our early arrival (storage area for our luggage) and late departure. All in all, we were quite pleased with our stay. The grounds are lovely, and you can watch and hear the crews warming up right in front of the hotel.

Well appointed and comfortable room, excellent food and attentive service, all in a delightful rural setting next to the River Thames. The hotel sits in the grounds of and is part of Henley Business School .

It was our first family trip post covid and we are really happy that we have chosen this hotel. We have chosen this hotel more for my mother since she is old and ensuring she is safe and hassle free travel. The room is clean with a good view of the beach. Since it is in station zero, the beach is less crowded so we have a very serene environment which we enjoy. We are able to relax in the beach and enjoy the pool. There are restaurants to choose from so everyday we tried different cuisine. There is also a free shuttle going to and from the market, just be sure to take note of the timings.

Great clean and comfortable accommodation, excellent and friendly service, 5** breakfast. Self service evening meal disappointed. I would highly recommend Greenlands to for business and other travellers.

This was a stunning place to stay for a 50th school reunion. Fabulous grounds, perfect evening for pre dinner drinks on the terrace, and a most delicious dinner on a beautifully laid table with gorgeous floral centrepiece. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely bedlinen and sensible sized towels, and tea and coffee maker. Just outside Henley, but right on the river, this is a convenient place to stay with several towns, villages and National Trust properties close by.

I watched a member of staff mix the cows milk yogurt in with the vegan yogurt, when I pointed out that was not acceptable she said it was OK because it was all just yogurt. Vegan sausages came out of the kitchen mix in with meat sausages and where then put on a seperat plate. The cloth used to wipe the floor was used on the tables! Foods offered on the menu where never available. items went missing from my rooom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room at Greenlands was modern and comfortable. The setting of the hotel was lovely. However, the restaurant was extremely poor. There was a function in the dining room and hotel guests were relegated to the bar to eat at coffee tables, only allowed to order from 8.15 pm onwards with food arriving about an hour later. The food was very ordinary. As the hotel is some distance from villages and towns there are few alternatives for dinner.
