Holiday Inn Express & Suites WYTHEVILLE by IHG

No hot water in shower. That was really crappy. it was a "hotel being cheap" issue as there was much warmer water available at the bathroom sink so the hotel just dialed back the hot water at the spigot.  pancake machine was broken and the attendant stared at it alongside us. absent of help we flipped down the control panel to try to follow the maintenance instructions on the screen (but got stuck at "change belt every 60 batterbag replacements". ate my yogurt with a fork as there were no spoons. 4 slice toaster half broken and they attempted to "fix" it by putting scotch tape over the switch so you would find out as you try to lower the lever. 1 of 2 elevators were broken for our whole trip.

Very nice generously sized room and bed, great spacious bathroom. Very good selection of options at breakfast, complemented with great service

Indoor hot tub was nice but pool was somewhat small for the amount of people in the pool. Was loud in the enclosed room. AC in room was noisy requiring to wear earplugs. Also needed to keep temperature low for room not to get too warm during the night. Breakfast had good choices and breakfast area was very clean.

This was a beautiful place to stay ! Hot tub was comfortable and clean, the pool was beautiful. Room was very nice and comfortable. We did have a problem trying to regulate the temperature.. but it didn’t take away from how nice everything was. This will be our overnight stop on our way to our vacation destination each year.

Staff fantastic, couldn’t go to hot tub or pool because there were too many children in it. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was too crowded (at 7:30 in the morning) no seats available even in the lobby and very loud. Cold food so we left.

very nice helpful staff. we have found it to be clean and well kept. always our overnight stop when travelling from Florida to Pa

I had a business trip for 2 nights at this hotel. It was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Very quiet and all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was included and it was a great continental style breakfast with lots of options. Highly recommend.

property falsely advertises accessible rooms for mobility-challenged guests. bedside lamp switch cannot be comfortably accessed from the bed. bathtub cannot be safely entered by someone mobility impaired. bathroom door is very heavy and hard to open/close by someone in a wheelchair. be vending machine on 3rd floor was constantly sold out. parking was very difficult to find and not wheelchair accessible. half the spaces were dedicated to teslas, which seems discriminatory against those who can’t afford a tesla.
