Novotel Xi'an Daming Palace

The service was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, staff on the ground floor came to help us with our luggage and escorted us to the lobby. During check-in, they thoughtfully offered us water. Any questions we had were addressed immediately by phone. Great value for money!

I took a spontaneous trip with my family. The hotel offered free parking, which was perfect for our road trip. They also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was very thoughtful.

An excellent stay! The hotel's location is fantastic, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and a subway station nearby. As an international chain, it definitely lives up to expectations. The facilities and service are top-notch. It's a trustworthy hotel brand and a reliable experience overall.

The location is fantastic, just 1.5 kilometers from Daming Palace National Heritage Park. Downstairs, there's a great variety of dining and shopping options. The hotel service is top-notch, and the laundry room and gym on the top floor are very convenient.

For this price point, everything was great: the environment, location, design, and service. The only thing was that the kettle (or perhaps the cups) had a mysterious layer of grease on them.

Clean, well-equipped, and excellent service. Laundry on the 26th floor is delivered back to your room. Downstairs, there's the Impression City shopping mall and a CR Vanguard supermarket, which is very convenient. I also think Xi'an's taxis are good. I bought souvenirs at the Chang'an Market.

The breakfast was truly excellent, and I even took pictures of it. The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They even upgraded my room! The hotel is about 200 meters from Longshouyuan subway station. Downstairs, there's a commercial area with Starbucks, Heytea, and more. There's also a night market nearby that locals frequent. I especially recommend Wei's Convenience Store; their hot dogs are super delicious. Oh, and the hotel is part of the Huazhu Group.

The room had large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing great natural light, which is my preferred room type. On the second day, I accidentally booked the wrong room type, and the hotel proactively called to check, which was very responsible of them. The only drawback was that there were no rooms available for the third day.

The hotel's location is very convenient, just a 10-minute taxi ride to many attractions. The breakfast selection is quite good and easily meets basic needs. The room size is appropriate for families, and the furnishings are relatively new. The only minor inconvenience is that the lobby is on the 8th floor, which can be a bit awkward for going up and down. Overall, the hotel service is decent, though there was a slight issue with extending our stay for an extra day which was eventually resolved by the lobby manager. Generally, it's a good value for money.
