We just booked the hotel for 4 hours to get some rest, as we had a late evening train. Everything was nice and easy!

Very good position and excellent service! Although, the room smelled a bit of smoking and was too warm.

great location in the middle of the action of the city. Staff were very friendly and even help me to unbox all my parcels to making it easier for packing into luggage.

The facilities were good, staff were generally helpful and nice. Very clean environment; generally has what you need. Very conveniently located. Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite.

A great stay at Ibis Xi'an! Convenient location, spotless rooms, and friendly staff who were always helpful. Comfortable beds and reliable free Wi-Fi made it perfect for both leisure and business. The breakfast offered a tasty variety. Excellent value for money—highly recommend for a hassle-free stay in Xi'an! 🌟

On the first night I had to change rooms 3 times. In the first room, the air blower in the room stopped and even the TV was not working. Technician came n confirm change room is needed. We moved our luggages to the second room. The second room was working well for 10 mins and the same issue happen again with the air blower stopped working. Technician confirm room change is needed as it cannot be repaired then. It was already past midnight at that time. As it was a family room the reception could not find another available family room. He was very nice and gave us 2 rooms for the 3 of us as it was past midnight so that we could get a rest. After 10 mins one of the 2 rooms assigned had a total blackout and again we changed a room. We had not moved our luggages from second room as we expect the technician to repair the problem the next morning. After a day out, on return I was stop by the front desk a short hair lady who told me that the air circulation in the 2nd room cannot be repaired n she will issue me a new room. Whilst talking to her and explaining that the air blower is not working another lady at the counter the lady with hair tied behind came and told me there is no air con in the room at this period. I explained to her that there is no air circulation and no power but she kept telling me there is no air con. Whilst trying to tell her that there is totally “no electric power”she snap and told me “This is China”. This happened on the 24 March about 6.30 pm. I asked for her name but she refused to give n totally refuse to look at me and the other reception lady who was helping me stepped in and directed me to a new room. This new family room assigned worked well for 20 min and we had intermittent power supply. The technician Mr Liew came n confirm that this room is not usable. He got me a new family room and helped me moved my luggages. Whilst we understand that these issues may happen and no one wishes for it but what had been an unpleasant experience was the Technician on the first night had insisted that our 2nd room was ok and the front desk had initially not agreed to a change of room. The second most unpleasant encounter was for the receptionist not to understand the whole issue or hear our explanation and snap saying “this is China”. China is now very advanced in a lot of things by leaps and bonds but I am sure having no air circulation in a room is not a China standard. There should be a check to understand the situation before snapping at the customer. I am now in Beijing and staying at another hotel. Whilst checking in a customer came and inform the reception of the same similar problem that I had encountered. The blower in the room is not working and there is no air circulating. The reception immediate reply is she will send someone to check. We are not expecting the air con to work but what we need is a comfortable space to rest and in a room with 3 person with no air circulating it can be a very uncomfortable sleep. The room is facing the main road and opening the window is not an ideal situation. A lady Manager Xiao Cao did try to ensure that we had remaining good night sleep. But the attitude of the receptionist whom I was told is a Team Leader is certainly much to be desired. This encounter has really make me apprehensive of staying in another Ibis Hotel in China.
