The location is fantastic! It's right across the street from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City pedestrian street is just to the left when you exit the hotel. Be aware that shops on the pedestrian street don't open until 11 AM, and the Joy City across the road opens at 10 AM. So, definitely don't skip the hotel breakfast, otherwise, you'll be ordering takeout every day or taking a taxi to the morning market that runs from 6 AM to 9 AM. Don't ask me how I know – I just experienced it for days! The hotel is very clean, but it's an older property, so the decor is quite dated. Both the room and bathroom are spacious. A special shout-out to the wardrobe – it's huge, which was incredibly helpful for me since I had to bring a lot of clothes for winter. They have robot room service, which is very fast. If it's late, they'll even deliver it manually. Service response time is almost always within five minutes. The pool isn't huge, but there's a kids' pool, and the changing rooms have a wet sauna and a wave pool. Thumbs up! On the first floor, the hotel connects directly to Starbucks on the left and Shaan Shisan on the right, making it super convenient to buy things and head straight up to your room. I had a makeup appointment in the evening, and the studio was just a 2-minute walk away from the hotel. After the shoot, I could walk right back to the hotel and rest immediately.
