MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower South Gate Branch)

Visited Xi'an with my child during the National Day holiday to experience the ancient capital. The hotel's location is pretty good, near the Bell Tower, though it's a bit far from the subway station. Right outside, there are all sorts of street food – you'll be stuffed with carbs!

The front desk lady had an excellent service attitude, very warm and thoughtful. Plus, there's free afternoon tea and fruit! The hotel location is also super convenient for food and entertainment.

I stayed for three nights in Xi'an during the National Day holiday. I booked a 'Deluxe King Room,' and the hotel upgraded me to a 'Multimedia Room' free of charge. The room was spacious and located on the quiet side facing the residential area. The hotel provided complimentary welcome fruits, and the mini-bar's Xi'an specialty drinks like 'Bingfeng' and 'Sour Plum Juice' were also free and replenished daily. There was also a complimentary water dispenser by the elevators. 'Mango,' a hotel staff member, was very enthusiastic. She recommended local delicacies and shared tips to avoid common tourist pitfalls. I was very satisfied with this trip!

A truly amazing experience! This was my first time in Xi'an, and I stayed for three days. I'm so glad I chose this hotel; the experience was unexpectedly great! The location is perfect, right on Fen Alley. A short walk to the left, a few hundred meters, takes you to the Bell Tower and the City Wall. Turn right, and just a few steps away, you'll find an entire street of snack stalls in Zhonglou Community. Walk a few hundred meters further, and you're at Yizhou Mall's Hanfu City. Directly across the street is the entrance to the Muslim Quarter. To the left and right are two famous Shaanxi restaurants (I only tried Chuan Cheng Chang'an, and the food was delicious 😋). In short, it's incredibly convenient. What I found most convenient about this hotel is its parking lot. Anyone who's been around the Drum Tower knows how difficult parking can be. Having a free, always-available parking lot is absolutely amazing, a real blessing for those traveling by car! The service is also fantastic. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks. The rooms are spotless and tidy. The absolute best part is that the cleaning staff will wash and dry your socks if you leave them on the floor!! Wow, I was genuinely thrilled, this is just too good! They'll even wash and dry your clothes. I've stayed in so many hotels, and this is the first time I've encountered a sock-washing service – truly incredible, absolutely mind-blowing! The waitstaff were also lovely, beautiful, and provided excellent, highly professional service, simply outstanding. Overall, after three days, even though I was exhausted from all the sightseeing, coming back to this hotel really gave me a sense of happiness. My review: absolutely amazing!!!

The hotel lobby is clean and spacious, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the facilities are comprehensive. Free parking is available for guests, which is convenient for getting around. Check-in was efficient, and the staff communicated thoroughly, proactively informing us about hotel amenities and travel tips. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

We chose the king-size room with a bathtub. It had a bathtub, an oversized projector, and the room was quite spacious at over 40 square meters. It had all the amenities one could ask for, and the attention to detail was impressive. They even provided a disposable bathtub liner, which shows great thoughtfulness. I've stayed in many hotels, and this is the only one that offered laundry detergent – I was so touched! The hotel's location is also super convenient for getting around to all the attractions. The value for money is incredibly high. I originally booked for 3 nights, and then extended for another night on the last day. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Xi'an.
