Yun He Ye Bo Hotel (Xi'an Zhonggulou South Gate)

I rarely write hotel reviews, but this one truly deserves praise. It's a hotel I found that offers great value for money and excels in other aspects too. First, they provide complimentary airport shuttle service. I initially thought it was just pick-up or drop-off, but a call to book revealed it includes both. Second, the room is spacious and comfortable, and there's a dedicated person to explain how to use everything in the room. Third, the hotel breakfast is quite abundant, featuring both Chinese and Western options, as well as Xi'an specialties like Roujiamo (meat burger) and Liangpi (cold noodles). They also offer afternoon tea and a sweet soup in the evening, so you can eat your fill without even leaving the hotel. Fourth, the hotel has areas for reading books and playing board games, even Perler beads! Kids won't get bored here. Fifth, they offer complimentary shuttle service to the Terracotta Warriors, which is quite a distance from the city center. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Yunhe Yebo Hotel is truly excellent, 100% recommendable to friends and family. From the moment I arrived, almost all staff members I encountered greeted me proactively and offered assistance. When small issues arose, senior staff members reacted quickly and provided excellent solutions. The room was clean, with wooden floors that were mopped during cleaning, which felt much cleaner than carpet! The behavior of some tourists visiting Xi'an needs improvement; despite the hotel's clear no-smoking policy, there were still rooms where people smoked, and the smell drifted over. After reporting it, the hotel quickly provided an air purifier. Laundry service was provided, with clothes washed and disinfected separately, then neatly folded and returned to the room. The absolute best part was the policy of 'no washing of intimate wear and socks.' This was incredibly reassuring! Even if disinfected, I wouldn't want to use a machine that has washed other people's intimate wear/socks! This move by the hotel is simply brilliant! They offer free airport shuttle service and a bus shuttle to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, which is very convenient. It's important to emphasize that the hotel isn't just relying on the services mentioned above. The hotel itself is actually very beautiful, with grand yet comfortable decor. The furnishings in the room are very tastefully designed, with electric curtains and TV screen mirroring, among other features. Although it opened in 2021, it's very well-maintained; both the public areas and rooms feel new and are very attractive. If you're worried that the hotel's public photos might be enhanced, rest assured, it is genuinely that beautiful in reality.

Towards the end of the summer holidays, I brought my child to Xi'an and spent a long time deliberating over hotels before finally booking Yunhe Yepo. The hotel's location is excellent. Within walking distance, you can reach Wenchang Gate, Yongning Gate, Bell Tower, Kaiyuan Plaza, and Beilin Museum. The Muslim Quarter is about a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The hotel breakfast is very generous, offering everything from liangpi, roujiamo, sazi noodles, wontons, hot dishes, cold dishes, and Western pastries. And they all taste great! We'd wake up at 9 am, have breakfast, and wouldn't need to eat again until the afternoon, going straight out to explore. For lunch, they have home-style stir-fries that are reasonably priced and taste good. From 6 PM to 9 PM, complimentary sweet soup is served. There's a laundry service available; every morning, an auntie collects dirty clothes, washes, dries, folds, and returns them, which is incredibly convenient. They also offer a free airport shuttle service; you just need to call the front desk to book a day in advance. Finally, I have to commend the hotel staff. Their service attitude is excellent; they always greet you warmly, help with luggage, and special shout-outs to Li Zi, Mango, and Yue Liang for quickly resolving any issues. Upon checkout, they even gave my child a fridge magnet and a stamp collecting booklet, which made my child incredibly happy. I highly recommend this hotel for families traveling to Xi'an with children.

The customer service was warm and attentive, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. What was especially thoughtful was the airport pick-up and drop-off service (requires advance notice), and they even provided transportation for visiting the Terracotta Army. It truly made things so much easier and more convenient. Definitely a big thumbs up! 👍

The hotel rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and stylishly decorated with modern facilities. The service is excellent, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. It's good value for money, and I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an.

The hotel's service was excellent. It's very close to the City Wall and the Stele Forest Museum. They even offer a free shuttle to the Terracotta Army. I rarely leave hotel reviews, but this one absolutely deserves a five-star rating. The service here surpasses any five-star hotel I've ever stayed at. They offer complimentary airport transfers, the butler is always available, and they provide a free daily laundry service for a basket of clothes, including washing and drying. There's also a complimentary afternoon tea, and they provide plenty of mineral water. The room itself is spacious, clean, and quiet at night. When I asked for soap to wash my delicates, they immediately brought three different washing products. I really hope hotels across the country can meet this standard!
