We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Shangu. Not only is the guesthouse conveniently located near the monasterybut the hosting family also taught us so much about Tibetan culture. They generously shared their time, traditions, and delicious cuisine—things we would never have experienced anywhere else. They were always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. And all the food we ate (a lot) was genuinely local, delicious and had the warmth of homemade food. Furthermore, the guesthouse itself was absolutely lovely. The common spaces were very tasteful and inviting, and the rooms were clean, well-designed and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful sleep, and no problems whatsoever. We will never forget these few days at Shangu guesthouse, and our lovely moments with its family. This stay will remain one of the most meaningful memories of our trip to China.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the decor was beautiful. The owner was very friendly, offering a welcome khata (traditional Tibetan scarf) and hot tea. In the evening, you could even enjoy authentic yak yogurt! The location was also very convenient; you could easily walk to Labrang Monastery. Highly recommended for friends, couples, or families traveling together.

I am very satisfied with my trip. I selected Treasure B&B. The rooms are very unique and the boss and staff are very enthusiastic! We arranged special breakfast and dinner, and also upgraded the room type for free. It was a great stay experience!

Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea. We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread. We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome. The house is wonderful, Tibetan style, wooden, always very clean. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy. The bathroom has hot water. You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room. We always saw them cleaning the common areas. The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family. I will recommend them to all my friends. Really recommended!

Incredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover Tibetan culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere. 在Xicheng Inn 的入住体验令人难忘。酒店装饰别致温馨，三楼的图书室尤其迷人——里面摆满了文化工艺品、游戏和书籍，待上一整天都不会无聊！酒店员工的待客之道无可挑剔，我虽是独自旅行，却从未感到孤单。他们会带客人漫步古城，领略藏地文化风情。我强烈推荐这里，不仅因为舒适的住宿环境，更因那份宾至如归的温暖氛围。

Wonderful location in the breathtaking Sangke Grasland. They were inexperienced with the needs of Western tourists, but made an effort to accommandate our wishes.

Wonderful homestay with family. Yummy hot tea in the morning. And an electric bed warmer!
