Cunju Homestay

A very beautiful homestay experience! The hosts were kind and welcoming, the location is very convenient, and the home is charming.

Great visit! Cozy homestay with great character. The location is ideal, close to the monestary and many great authentic restaurants. Amazing hosts that helped us to book a daytrip around the Grasslands (highly recommended). They also arranged our bus tickets back to Lanzhou. Although the bathroom is shared, it was one of the cleanest we encountered on our trip.

Cunju Homestay was in a great location - walking distance to everything. The house itself is very beautiful and nicely decorated. We didn't have more contact with the host family but when we had queries that answered right away.

Amazing homestay, very nice host !  Location is close to labrang and Main Street but is very calm. We fall in love with the charm of the house and host hospitality.  There are no towels for guests.

Family were very friendly. Spoke no english but translated on phone. Room was cold but they provided electric blanket and heater. Good hot shower and share bathroom. Use of fridge. Close to Monastery and 10min walk to bus and post office. Lots of cheap restaurants around.

What a beautiful home! It's a great location, a short walk from both the bus station and the monastery. The house is set back from one of the main roads of restaurants and shops so it's still really quiet despite the hustle and bussle of the main street. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with comfy beds. There's a large space to relax outside if the rooms with a washing machine and drying area. The biggest positive though are the owners. They're so friendly and helpful. The highlight of our time in Xiahe was the tour that they arranged for us with a local driver to solve stunning viewpoints, something that we would never have been able to do on our own

I had a great stay at Cunju Homestay. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The facilities are clean and the hosts take pride in making their guests feel welcome. The hosts bought my bus ticket to Lanzhou and explained the process of showing my ticket at the bus station. I know for other travellers the hosts also arranged taxi services to the tourist hotspots in the area. I'd highly recommend Cunju Homestay for all travellers and in particular solo travellers. The hosts also live on site so it feels like home. There is a great communal area where you can meet other travellers.
