Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival.
The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason.

Excellent stay, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Would recommend. Only issue is no coffee, so bring your own!

This was the second time we stayed in this lovely hotel. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. The family room was perfect for us. Also the food in the restaurant is good. Location obviously is perfect, right next to Labrang monastery.

Cosy and clean room including a bathroom with shower. The breakfast is very simple - no coffee and no noodle soup.

Good location, very near the labrang monastery. Xiahe is a very small town so most restaurants are walking distance. Personally thought room looked much better in real life than the photos as it was lighter and cleaner than I expected. Breakfast was simple. Overall would stay again

Staff is not very friendly, it looked like we were bothering them when we arrived.
Room is nice, bed is super comfortable.
Shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom so there is water everywhere after shower, especially the pipe was obstructed.
Location is good, near monastery entrance.
Breakfast is so so, not well furnished
