Xiamen Blue Shark Sea View Hotel Apartment (Shimao Twin Towers Branch)

Booked for 2 adults and 2 children, expecting a king-size bed (1.8m) and a queen-size bed (1.5m), but both turned out to be queen-size. The cleanliness in some areas wasn't up to par. Overall, it was just okay. The customer service staff must have been really busy because they stopped replying to my WeChat messages after we checked in. The pictures showed an ocean view, but that's not what we got. For a weekend booking at over 500 RMB, honestly, it wasn't worth it.

Excellent service, clean rooms, overlooking Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple, with a distant view of Kinmen.

The air conditioning was too loud, a constant droning noise. However, the view was great, offering a full panorama of Xiamen University.

First off, the cleanliness was really not up to par for the price; the pictures speak for themselves. Secondly, the service was quite mediocre. There was no front desk staff to guide me; all communication was via WeChat. Sometimes they wouldn't answer calls or WeChat messages, and the customer service attitude was generally poor. My personal advice is that there are many hotels around the Petronas Twin Towers, so compare them carefully before booking to avoid spoiling your mood.

Fantastic experience! The sea view from the window was amazing, and the Yanwu Bridge was right below us. The hotel service was excellent; any requests were promptly handled. Highly recommended!

The room view is absolutely amazing, offering a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island! It's also incredibly quiet at night, which is great for sleeping. The on-duty front desk staff are super helpful; they have both day and night shifts, and their responses are always prompt! The two beds can accommodate four people, but it would be even better if there were two more seats for the sofa bench.

I chose a high floor, the 50th floor (with a bathtub). The TV wasn't working, and even after reporting it, it wasn't fixed. Other amenities were fine. Downstairs, there's a bustling shopping street and the Shapowei district to explore.

Had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the view was great, and my kids loved it too. A special shout-out to the cleaning staff – one of them found something valuable and returned it. Their honesty truly deserves recognition. This hotel is definitely worth checking out!
