Located right above the intersection of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the Niaodao Garden Hostel Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Branch boasts an excellent location. Downstairs, you'll find the Huang Zehe Peanut Soup shop and the popular Yuehua Satay Noodles. The only drawback was the shower water, which fluctuated between hot and cold – definitely something that needs improvement.

The soundproofing isn't great. I booked a mini-loft, but it was much smaller than I expected. In the mornings, I could clearly hear people talking in other rooms, which was a bit of a downside. Other services were very good, and the decor was nice. It would be perfect if they could improve the soundproofing. Also, the room was too minimalist; my room didn't even have a decent-sized table. This meant I had to sit on the bed to eat takeout or place my belongings, and the height wasn't comfortable. Hope they can improve these points.

Our homestay is located on Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street in Xiamen - a bustling and charming South Asian commercial street. It is just a stone's throw away from Zhongshan Road. Right downstairs is the time-honored Huang Zehua. During the day, you can walk around the old lanes of Zhongshan Road and taste the authentic local delicacies such as satay noodles, oyster omelette, spring rolls, mixed noodles, and turtle jelly. When night falls, you can sit in the room and enjoy the South Asian night view of Zhongshan Road and the night view of Gulangyu Island. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the seaside, 5 minutes to walk to the Gulangyu Island pier, 10 minutes by bus to reach Xiamen University, and 15 minutes by bus to reach Zengcuo'an. Our homestay is equipped with a garden terrace, elevator, luggage room, laundry room, water bar area and other supporting facilities, making your trip more than just accommodation.
