ARULA Resort & Spa has an amazing ambiance. The lobby's moon-themed ceiling design is unique and creates a cozy atmosphere. The facilities are modern and comprehensive, offering great comfort. Their afternoon tea is exquisite; the matcha cheesecake and coffee are top-notch. Highly recommend!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on my trip to Xiamen. I booked it without much research, and it turned out to be excellent! The cleanliness and environment were top-notch, and the facilities were incredibly smart, even featuring a robot delivering meals. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and varied, and they even offered afternoon tea. The hotel service was absolutely five-star; the cleaning staff and restaurant staff were so welcoming and friendly, truly showcasing the warmth of Xiamen people. Even after checking out, when we left our luggage at the front desk, the staff handled it with great care. What truly surprised me was their willingness to accommodate room upgrade requests based on availability. My positive impression started from check-in and just kept growing! Plus, it's super convenient as it's right on Zhongshan Street.

This is the first time I've stayed in such a terrible 5-diamond hotel. I have no idea how it earned that rating. 1. The hotel entrance advertised on Trip.com was Photoshopped. The storefront of the pedestrian street plaza was made to look like the hotel's own entrance, which made me search for ages to find the hotel. When I finally saw it, I couldn't believe it. You have to walk deep into the pedestrian street to find the hotel (I took actual photos for comparison). 2. A 5-diamond hotel's elevator actually requires you to exit the hotel lobby. 3. The layout on the floors was like a maze; it was so hard to find the elevator to go downstairs. 4. I was shocked the moment I opened the room door. It was even more basic than a budget hotel, pitifully small, and the soundproofing was terrible. There's a basketball court downstairs, and I could hear everything clearly. 5. The air conditioning in the room could only cool, not heat. There was no 'off' button on the control panel, and I didn't know you had to ask 'Xiaodu' (a smart assistant) to turn off the AC (no one informed me when I checked in). I ended up having to turn the cooling temperature higher and enduring it until I called the next day to find out. This also caused me to get a fever. 6. A 5-diamond hotel without bathrobes, and the sink was disgustingly dirty (I have photos). I honestly didn't have the energy to experience anything else. After taking fever medicine, I checked out and left. Initially, when the hotel found out I had a fever because of the AC, they offered me an 80% discount on the room rate, which I declined. Later, they asked Trip.com to refund me the full amount, which I also declined. How should I put it? The stay experience was extremely poor! I feel like I was scammed.

Awesome, five stars! Even though the hotel is located in a declining mall, the front desk service and overall experience were excellent. The hallways had a lovely, elegant scent. They offered complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails; if you don't drink alcohol, you can switch to coffee. I expected only basic coffees like Americano and latte, but they even had fruit coffee and dirty coffee available. I missed breakfast because I woke up late. I have to commend the razor and shaving cream; they were the best quality I've ever seen in a 300-yuan hotel, a really great experience. They also gave me a souvenir upon departure. All in all, I was very satisfied with the service.

The room features a fully smart Xiao Du assistant, and the environment is elegant, offering coffee and afternoon tea. The staff are warm and attentive. The robot delivery service for meals and tissues was a nice touch. Overall, everything was excellent, a perfect score!

My deluxe king room didn't have a window to the outside, which was fine, but the fact that there was no phone signal in the room (couldn't make calls) was unacceptable. After speaking with the front desk, they moved me to a different room. Cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness was very thorough and quite good. I stayed for two nights, and the cleaning staff tidied up and changed the towels on the second day. Service: The hotel's underground parking isn't complimentary; it's 10 yuan per hour, with a daily cap of 60 yuan. This was a bit of a downside. Breakfast: Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options. On the bright side, the hotel's location is excellent, very convenient for Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, which made me feel a bit better about the stay.
