The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a one-minute walk, a right turn, directly to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The owner is incredibly warm and hospitable, and told me about so many great places to visit! He was very thorough, and even helped me with my luggage when I left – he's such a sweet guy!

The hotel has a great environment, and the hygiene is impeccable. The front desk staff are warm and patient, and the facilities are comprehensive. It's also very convenient for getting around, as it's right next to a pedestrian street and a bus stop. I had a very comfortable stay this time and highly recommend it.

This stay was conveniently located near Zhongshan Road, making it easy to get around. However, there are a few experiences I need to honestly feedback on for future guests' reference.
Firstly, the hotel advertises a laundry room, but it doesn't clearly state that laundry is a paid service. During my stay, I specifically asked the front desk if there was a charge, and they told me it was free. Only when I actually went to use it did I find out I needed to scan a QR code to pay. The inconsistency in information was a poor experience, and I have video and screenshots to prove it.
Secondly, the service attitude varied significantly among the front desk staff. Some employees were very kind, but one particular front desk agent was quite rude and even verbally abusive during our interaction, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I have video evidence of this as well.
Lastly, I had to fetch water myself from the front desk, and they seemed reluctant to deliver it. For the same price as hotels in tier-one cities, where other establishments offer excellent service, I don't understand why your hotel falls short.

Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10, though there was a slight odor in the room. Parking was convenient and the room was clean. The details were well-executed. The old man overseeing the parking garage downstairs was very responsible, and the front desk staff on the first floor were patient and helpful.

Excellent! Got a free room upgrade. Mineral water is available at the front desk if you run out. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. The location is super convenient with lots of snacks nearby. Highly recommended!

By far the worst part about this place is that the name in both English and Chinese on this app is incorrect. On the app, this place is called a hotel (酒店), but it's not. It's a.guesthouse (客栈). This means that some of the amenities that you might expect from a botel, like a elevator, don't exist. The rooms are also very snall, but for a solo-traveler, that's okay. The worst part wss trying to use a hide-hailing app, since the name is different. Thankfully, I know enough Chinese to make it not s problem with me. That said, there was literally traah stuck on the, behind where the door sits when it is opened.

Nice hotel and nice owner. It's in an old part of town so the building is quite old itself. The furniture is also worn but you could say it fits the older building. The things you use are clean overall (bed, toilet, towels) but the corners of the rooms are a bit dirty and the age is showing in the bathroom. They provide free-to-use slippers though so still fine. However I put a do not disturb sign on the door and they still came in when I was not there to refresh the towels. I appreciate the gesture and service of course but I don't like to put work on the cleaners when I still had fresh towels left. Overall a nice stay.

The photos of this hotel are at least 30 years old. Everything in the room we were in was dated, dirty and stained. There are so many stains on the white walls that are from bugs being smashed into the wall and just left there. After checking in we spent a short amount of time in the room getting ready to go out again and in that time killed over 10 mosquitoes. Every time you killed one, another one showed up. There were mosquitos in our room the entire two night stay - we couldn't kill them all. The toilet/bathroom smelled so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door closed the whole time - which made the floors hard to dry. It was a very uncomfortable stay. The rooms need a deep deep clean.
The location is excellent just a block away from the Zhongshan Pedestrian Street. The staff would help if you had any questions.

Building of this hotel is more than 100 years old
It's right behind the Zhongsan pedestrian mall
Hotel owner is friendly and the reception is always ready to assist
I was upgraded to a double room on the ground floor
There is no lift for this boutique style hotel but it is not a hassle as I see guest happily ascend and descend the stairs

Enjoyed my stay here, front desk was very friendly and even helped us to carry our luggage up the stairs since they have no lifts. They even gave us a free room upgrade. The room was good and very clean. If you needed any help they can be easily contacted via WeChat and they would respond quickly. They were quick in helping us to navigate how to use the paid washing machine service. They provided us a guide on how to explore the area too.
Even the location was very good as there was a few eateries as well as convenience stores available right out of the area.
