I chose Mercure for my business trip to Xiamen. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean. They even upgraded me to a larger room for free! A classic five-star hotel. **Facilities:** They're a tiny bit dated, and I'm not a huge fan of the protruding sink design in the king room, but it is quite novel. **Cleanliness:** No issues with hygiene whatsoever, you can sleep soundly and without a worry. **Service:** Unfortunately, the hotel's food delivery robot was out of order on the day we checked in, and the Wi-Fi was a little bit spotty.
