When checking in, make sure you go to the Xinyue Building, regardless of which building your room is booked in. Don't get this wrong. The hotel only has ground-level parking, and there are golf carts to take you from the main building to the other buildings. Our room was upgraded to the Haiyu Building. The functional layout is quite reasonable; although there's no bathtub, there's a coffee table and a round table, both very convenient to use. We also received complimentary welcome fruits and YUWEI snacks upon arrival. The next day, we visited the small park in Xinyue Garden and walked around the whole area. It's also a good place for a run, with a slight incline. We asked the front desk for swan feeding props, which the kids loved. I have to praise the peanut soup at breakfast—it was absolutely delicious!

The service was excellent; they upgraded our room. The hotel grounds are expansive with lots of lawns, and the lotus flowers are currently in bloom, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. You can also feed small animals and watch planes, and the scenery is beautiful.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was plentiful. Plus, there was plenty of outdoor space.

This time, staying at the Ewa Hotel in Xiamen, I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Lemon, the lady at the front desk! She's so gentle and thoughtful, and her service is truly exceptional. Even before we arrived, she proactively contacted us several days in advance to discuss our itinerary, meticulously informing us about the local weather and travel precautions – incredibly considerate. During check-in, she even thoughtfully upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise. Not only did she patiently explain all the hotel activities and how to use the facilities, but she also specially prepared exquisite snacks as a welcome gift. Throughout our stay, she was incredibly attentive, constantly checking in on our experience, and regularly showing concern. She was meticulous, responsible, and genuinely warm and sincere in her interactions. I honestly recommend that anyone coming to Xiamen and staying at Ewa should directly ask for Lemon. Her service is delicate and heartwarming, making for an incredibly comfortable and pleasant stay. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!

Great for families! You can take the kids to feed the swans and goats, and the baby swans are adorable. The lotus flowers are beautiful this season too. There's a wide variety of plants in the garden, so it's fun to explore with children. The vegetable patch isn't ready yet, but the large lawn is perfect for playing football. Our upgraded room had a bathtub and a view of the airplanes, and we even took the kids swimming at night. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and it was quiet at night.

Avoid this hotel if you're attending a concert or are a light sleeper! The 'Wanyue Building' hallway reeked of mold. I booked 20 days in advance for a May 2nd stay during the May Day holiday, paying 564 RMB without breakfast (a room with breakfast on May 3rd was only 499 RMB). I specifically requested a shuttle for the concert, but no one ever contacted me to say a round-trip shuttle wasn't available. I only found out upon arrival that the one-way shuttle departed at 5 PM. In the end, I had to take a taxi over the bridge to the Olympic Sports Center at 6 PM, costing 40 RMB. The taxi from Xiamen North to the hotel was also 40 RMB. During the concert, even though they knew I was attending, they still called to disturb me, asking if I had checked in. Couldn't the front desk see that? This kind of 'service' and 'greeting' is unwanted. I took a shuttle back from the Hanting Hotel (Xiamen Airport Branch) at 11 PM, then another taxi back to my hotel. This hotel is 40 years old, and entering the Wanyue Building, you're hit with a strong mildew smell. Other negative reviews were accurate, but I still trusted and booked. They're selling these small rooms for five to six hundred RMB. The concierge immediately added me on WeChat asking for a 5-star review – how is that possible when I didn't even get the shuttle I asked for? At check-out, remembering the driver mentioned it was a 200,000 square meter garden hotel, I wanted to take a ride on the electric cart to see the park. Instead, another driver told me to go see it myself, that it was 20 meters left from the lobby entrance – a park with closed gates. Large planes flew overhead at 3 AM, making it impossible to sleep. I even have a video of planes flying during the day. The hotel advertised small animals and a botanical garden, but I saw nothing, not even the basic round-trip concert shuttle. Basic services included: fruit in the room, fish skin peanut candy as a souvenir, 4 bottles of mineral water, and electric cart service to and from the lobby. The 500 RMB deposit was refunded instantly at check-out.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The overall environment is clean and elegant, with simple yet comfortable decor, and even the smallest corners are spotless. The staff were gentle and polite, and check-in was very quick. The room was well-ventilated, toiletries were comprehensive, and it was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is also convenient. Highly recommend it!

This hotel is really unique, with its own garden where you can relax on the big lawn, and even feed black swans and alpacas! The service was also excellent. Manager Xiao Huang handled a minor issue that came up very professionally.

I stayed at the Haiyu Building in Luyu again this year. The service was excellent, and taking a stroll in the garden was very pleasant and relaxing.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The room was spotless, and most importantly, incredibly quiet, which allowed for a great night's sleep. The hotel's surroundings were also fantastic, with a high percentage of beautifully landscaped gardens. It's perfectly suited for family trips, offering plenty of activities and play facilities that kids will love.

The room was quite spacious, well-equipped, modern, and very clean. The outdoor area had a beautifully maintained garden, which was absolutely refreshing to look at. The dining experience was also excellent, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients at the buffet. Breakfast was equally impressive, thumbs up! I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance.

As someone who loves staying at courtyard-style hotels when traveling, the Xiamen Yuhua Hotel truly exceeded my expectations this time. The hotel grounds are incredibly spacious. Aside from the main building, Xin Yue Tower, which is high-rise, other buildings like Tian Feng Tower, Hai Yu Tower, and Wan Yue Tower are only four or five stories tall. There are also Japanese and European-style villa clusters, and shuttle buses are available to transport guests between buildings. The hotel boasts an ecological botanical garden, home to several lambs, an ostrich, and two peacocks. A small pond in the garden houses a flock of black swans and ducks, and the plant diversity is impressive. Located in a flight path, you can watch planes from various airlines arriving in Xiamen every morning and evening from your room window. It was incredibly relaxing to enjoy breakfast on the restaurant terrace in the morning, watching planes that had just taken off fly over the lawn behind the hotel's Xin Yue Tower. The cleaning staff thoughtfully folded my nightgown and placed it on the pillow when cleaning the room. When I was looking at the hotel's园区 map by the roadside, a male employee proactively greeted me, asked where I wanted to go, and gave me directions. Although my trip to Xiamen for Chinese New Year wasn't as satisfying due to the crowds, staying at the Yuhua Hotel made up for all the previous disappointments, allowing me to leave feeling content.

This hotel is huge! It has a heated indoor pool, a kids' club, and a really large ecological park perfect for morning runs – one lap is almost 2 kilometers. You can even feed swans there, and there are lots of plants. The kids loved it!

I read in the description that this is an older hotel, so I expected the facilities and decor to be a bit dated. What I didn't expect was a problem with the air conditioning. It said the hotel centrally controls heating and cooling, which is acceptable, as many hotels do this. However, no matter if I set it to fan mode or turned it off, the AC would automatically switch back to heating mode after a while. It was really hot in Xiamen those few days, and on the first night, not knowing this, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot, only to see the AC display showing 31 degrees Celsius. Later, by chance, I saw the AC I had just turned off turn itself back on, but that was already past midnight on the second night. Ultimately, I reported it to the hotel, and with the help of the Trip.com concierge, I received a partial refund. I want to commend the Trip.com concierge for their full-day, dedicated assistance in resolving the issue. However, I'm not very satisfied with the hotel's solution. They actually claimed their AC had no problems, despite two visits from room service staff, their offer of a fan, and even a video I happened to record, all clearly indicating there was an issue with the air conditioning. This was the most frustrating part. Since most of my time in the hotel was spent sleeping at night, I didn't get good rest for two consecutive nights because of the AC problem. The hotel failed to provide its most basic value. Objectively speaking, encountering such an AC issue must be a概率事件 (a probabilistic event), as the AC in the living room of my suite didn't turn itself back on after being turned off. The service was decent, but they seemed overly confident about their facilities, perhaps due to the pride associated with being a 'state guesthouse'.
