They proactively upgraded me to a suite with a balcony, offering direct sea views and facing the island, which was fantastic. The 2-meter king-size bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is great, I've stayed here many times. They have a self-service laundry room, and the breakfast is good too. The price is reasonable, I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Very good, no complaints except for the lack of a laundry room. Everything else was great, hopefully, they can add laundry services in the future.

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰

The hotel was clean and hygienic, and the service was warm and attentive. We even got an upgrade to an executive room, which was spacious and bright. Complimentary bottled water was provided, and we also received a complimentary afternoon tea. We had a wonderful Lantern Festival at the hotel.

The hotel in Haicang is very spacious, and the sea-view balcony offers fantastic scenery. The room facilities are also excellent, and it's very child-friendly, even offering kids' pillows. The bedding is clean and comfortable. The hotel breakfast is rich and varied, and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is very close to Songyu Wharf, just a 10-minute walk away, making it super convenient to get to Gulangyu Island. Plus, it's much less crowded than Dongdu. Highly recommended!

The front desk staff, Jiang Huijuan, was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing that we had a child with us, she kindly upgraded our room for free. She also enthusiastically offered us various recommendations, which made our trip to Xiamen incredibly enjoyable and memorable.

The hotel environment is great, the bathtub is very comfortable, and the staff service is also excellent. From the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeping, everyone made us feel right at home. They even helped us upgrade to a room with a balcony. We were offered hot tea upon arrival, and they would deliver takeout to the room after we called the front desk. There was even a follow-up call. The variety, taste, and service of the breakfast still have room for improvement.

I was looking for non smoking hotel and found Wyndham Grand Haicang as it was close to my friend's house. It turned out to be a great stay for our family when we were in Xiamen. I booked 2 family suites for 5 days due to the size of the room to accommodate the number of people we have. The service was top notch. I informed the hotel reception that we are vegetarians and we were well looked after by Helen every morning when we went for breakfast. I'd also like to mention that the cleaners are also very proactive in providing what we need. On the second day of our arrival, we found a cloth airer and extra hangers on the balcony. Our water has also been top up from 4 to 8 bottles. She also left a note mentioning that if we need anything else, do inform her by leaving a note. At the lobby, Andy Yang is always there to give suggestions on where to go and even show us the way to take ferry to Gulangyu island. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk away. All of these little good gestures has made our family of 9 a very pleasant stay in Xiamen. Overall, all their staffs are very friendly, smiley and approachable. The view from our rooms is great! Thank you so much to Wyndham Grand Haicang for their excellent service and for being a non smoking hotel.

The sea view is amazing, a great hotel for marathon runners! I didn't have enough time to fully appreciate Haicang! It's about 2km from the marathon starting point, which is very convenient. There was even a telescope, but I couldn't figure out how to use it! The staff provided attentive and friendly service! Breakfast was available at 6:00 AM to support marathon participants!

We recently stayed at The Drm Hotel with our whole family, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The family room we booked was incredibly spacious, and the balcony offered an unparalleled, unobstructed view of the boundless blue ocean meeting the sky. Every morning, our children would excitedly rush to the balcony to take in the beautiful scenery. The outdoor pool also boasted stunning views! Our kids practically spent the entire day in the pool and didn't want to get out. The dedicated shallow area for children gave us parents complete peace of mind. The hotel also offered a fantastic kids' club and a wide range of family activities. With the beach right below the hotel, our kids spent hours digging in the sand and beachcombing with many other families, so we never had to worry about them getting bored. All in all, the scenery here is breathtaking, and our balcony even offered a view reminiscent of Xiamen's Victoria Harbour. It's truly the perfect spot for families with kids to relax and unwind.
