Yehou Qi Homestay (Yaan Mengding Mountain Town Branch)

A lovely and charming hotel that I highly recommend. It is beautifully situated in the heart of lush green tea fields, making the surroundings incredibly peaceful and picturesque. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and our host was absolutely wonderful. She arranged a tea tasting for us and took the time to explain the different types of tea, which was a really special and enjoyable experience. Dinner was delicious, and the entire staff was warm, and welcoming throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful stay with amazing hospitality and tea experience 🍃🍵 We had a fantastic stay at Yehou Qi Homestay! We are a Dutch couple, and as I speak Mandarin, we had some lovely conversations with the owners and staff. The owner personally picked us up in Mingshan and, as we were the only guests, kindly upgraded us to their most beautiful room with an incredible view. The room and all common areas were spotless. What really made our stay special was the warmth and enthusiasm of everyone. We received a wonderful and very detailed introduction to tea, and the owner took us into the tea fields to pick, smell and taste the tea herself. You could really feel how much love and passion they have for their tea and traditions. She even drove towards us after our visit to Mengdingshan so we wouldn't have to walk all the way back to the homestay — such a thoughtful gesture! A beautiful place with genuinely lovely people. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended! ❤️

We like everything in this hotel. The owners are super kind and helped us in our itinerary. We also visited with him a temple nearby and was an amazing experience. The room are perfect and the view is incredible. I recommend everyone to stay in this location. The building is surrounded by nature, one of the ver best place in our trip in China.

Hidden on a beautiful spot in the mountain. We were very happy to have stayed at this gem. The staff was so incredibly friendly. Toured us around personally. Thankful for our stay here❤️

The staff at the homestay were warm and generous, always going out of the way to help us. The food was good and the setting was tranquil.

We had a wonderful stay here, it was a real highlight of our trip. It's in a gorgeous location, with lovely rooms and gardens. The owners & staff were really welcoming and generous, taking us on walks, introducing us to their neighbours, and teaching us all about tea. They also cooked great food, and were able to cater the vegetarians in our group as well. I'd really recommend a visit, particularly for international tourists like us - it was such a nice change from the hot and crowded cities. You might not see loads online in English about things to do in Ya'an, but there was plenty to see in the surrounding area - we particularly enjoyed the hiking in Mengdingshan and Bifengxia.

Really beautiful homestay outside of town. The staff were making sure from beginning to end that we had a good time. Rooms are spacious and nice. The tea they sell is of high quality.

It was a very cozy and peacuful stay, with beautiful garden, great views. Ms. Zheng is a super host, she showed us how tea is made, took us to her tea plantation, she is a woman with merits, practicing flute, caligraphy, poetry. We had realy nice time together. You can also have tasty dinners prepared at home. Evetything was just great.

So nice stay, so beautiful , the women who is the owner is so Nice. We had a delightfull tea tasting, very nice dinner and breakfast and all with correct prices. We would definitly recommend! The rooms are very spacious and clean !
