Crowne Plaza YA'AN by IHG

First off, I have to commend Peipei at the front desk; she was absolutely wonderful. Check-in was super quick, and seeing that I had two kids with me, she kindly upgraded us to a river-view room and even gave us complimentary breakfast for the little ones, toiletries, and more. The room was huge, with a bathtub, and offered views of both the mountains and the river – the kids were absolutely thrilled! We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

The Crowne Plaza can be considered one of the best hotels in Ya'an, offering five-star amenities. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. It happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival, and they even gifted us an IHG custom mooncake box, which was a lovely touch. There's a free mini-train at the hotel entrance that takes you to and from the pier, which the kids absolutely loved. As an IHG member, I received a complimentary upgrade to a river view king room with a great view. My only minor gripe is that the room size felt a bit cramped compared to what I'd expect from a five-star hotel, but the in-room facilities were all quite good. Additionally, the hotel is situated in Ya'an's new landmark, the Ya'an Panda Exhibition Center, making its location superb. It's about a 40-minute drive from the Bifengxia scenic area. Definitely a recommended hotel!

My recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ya'an was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to everyone! The hotel's location is absolutely superb, nestled by the Qingyi River. The river-view rooms offer an amazing panorama; in the morning, opening the window reveals the misty river and distant green mountains, like a picturesque scroll. At night, you can enjoy the beautiful scene of lights reflecting on the river, resembling a flowing galaxy. Plus, the hotel is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's just a 5-minute walk to a food street where you can find all sorts of local delicacies like Ya'an fish and hot pot skewers, and Wanda Plaza is only a 10-minute drive away. The hotel's facilities are also outstanding. The rooms are equipped with smart curtains and lighting control systems, and when you turn on the lights, the ceiling even projects a starry sky, adding a touch of grandeur. The bathtub faces the floor-to-ceiling window, allowing you to enjoy the river view while soaking – incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the hotel's heated pool and 24-hour gym provide plenty of leisure options for guests. In terms of service, the hotel staff were truly top-notch. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful; upon check-in, they not only prepared an extra bed rail in advance but also kindly provided children's toiletries. The hotel's butler even contacted us by phone beforehand to confirm our arrival time and helped arrange welcome fruits and a room upgrade, making us feel right at home. Regarding dining, the hotel's breakfast offers a rich variety. The freshly cooked red oil wontons and crispy egg tarts were delicious, and the Western bakery section even had macarons. For dinner, the poached Ya'an fish and rattan pepper chicken are also worth trying, and the chef can adjust the spice level according to guests' preferences.

Whenever I book a hotel, I usually prefer to choose InterContinental and its affiliated properties. Their standards are consistently formalized, rigorous, and well-regulated. The room designs are logical, and the facilities are comprehensive, so I generally don't encounter any unpleasant surprises. It's always a comfortable and pleasant stay. This particular stay was just a brief stopover during my trip. The beautiful natural surroundings and the lush green lawns nearby were so relaxing. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the ingredients were fresh.

Thanks for the room upgrade, it was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary fruit was also very fresh, and the jujubes were so sweet! 😁 All the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and spoke softly and gently, which was super lovely! The little panda robot that delivered the food was also really cute! 😊 Great job, everyone! If I come back to Ya'an, I'll definitely stay here again!

Excellent and attentive service. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and parking was convenient for those driving.

We had two tickets to the 'Pandas Return' epic show in Zone A. You just need to contact the hotel in advance to book. We didn't have time to see it, so the hotel gave us a redemption voucher instead. The hotel is by the river, so you can bring binoculars for birdwatching. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the breakfast is plentiful. However, it's a bit far from the city center, so driving is recommended.

This is arguably the best hotel in Ya'an. Last time I stayed at the DoubleTree, but I feel that the Crowne Plaza experience this time was even better. The room was very comfortable and the environment was beautiful. The breakfast, however, was just average.

This hotel is truly a great choice, whether you're traveling for business or leisure. It's nestled between a mountain in the front and a river in the back, offering a beautiful environment. The rooms, cleanliness, service, facilities, and breakfast are all excellent.
