I just about 5-7 minutes walk from the station. Is really a nice hotel. Looks very new and room size is good. I really like the restaurant downstairs. The beef is one of the best I ever have. Also discount for hotel guests. Same restaurant for breakfast.

We were really happy to stay in this hotel. The location was very central and connected with other mean of transportations (busses and trains) which is very beneficial if you are going to visit Zao Onsen or Ginzan Onsen. They also connected to this mall S-Pal (with supermarkets and small resto).
The room very clean and full with amenities. The staff really helpfull. No complain at all.

It is an old hotel, so you may not want to take a bath in your room, but their public bath is good. This place is on the hill which means you will not want to walk by your own in winter because of the slippery Mountain path. But in other hand it is really convenient because they provide shuttle bus to bus station or cable car station. And there is a ski place just in front of the hotel, you can borrow the equipments from hotel.

〈 room 〉 Japanese style room is wide 々 The interior is old but clean and the amenities are substantial 〈 hot spring 〉 The dressing room and the public bath were very clean without garbage and slippery. The hot water temperature is also suitable for temperature The panorama view from the bathtub was also good 〈 meal 〉 Impression that there were many white rice, sushi, noodles and carbohydrates for dinner The amount was sufficient but only the thick seasoning overall. A few days before the holiday of the sea day, I arrived at this inn to find a place to take Wanko in a hurry. When I was single, and I took my child, and the Zao Onsen ski area came many times in winter as the whole mountain genre map was in my head. I never came to summer, but the child also stood up and came to summer for the first time as a place where the couple could play. This inn is the first time. I imagine that I was so busy at the height of skiing, but now I am working hard with corporate efforts to make pets possible according to the age, and it is an old inn. But it was clean and there was no dust, such as corridors, stairs, and shelves in the room. The staff was also nice. It is full of privileges, such as two meals for 10000 yen per person, and the source of the source, and the three joint baths in the hot spring town are free and the Zao Onsen large open-air bath becomes discount, and it is full of privileges, and it is possible to stay with Wanko It was a super happy inn with Wanko. We stayed for 2 nights with two couples from June 18. The room was a large room of 30 square meters of Japanese bed on the 3 floor, and there were 2 elevators, convenient, old and weak feet. Dinner was delicious for two days with a great kaiseki dish with a good appearance and a variety of ingredients. The hot springs were in the inner bath and the open air, respectively, with a milky white bath with a rich sulfur fragrance. I was able to use it in a cheap plan, but I want to take care of it again next time.

There is no doubt that it is a first-class inn! It is an inn with great employee education. It's been a while since I've been in the room recently, but it was an inn that brought my luggage to my room. The inside of the inn is large and the garden is magnificent and too luxurious! It was like a maze. Supper is easy because you can have it in a private room. The explanation of the food was young, but it is very solid. There were many vegetables such as wild plants for breakfast, and there were many maba tofu and kotteri Chinese dishes, so I thought it was unusual, and the maba tofu I took was amazing. Of course, all the dishes are delicious, but the rice is what impresses me. Yamagata rice is really delicious. It was a long and elongated variety and I liked it very much. You may not be able to expect the view from the room because the room you stayed in was on the ３ floor. I really don't say anything, but if I say one thing, I was worried that when I left the room, I always smelled the food from the kitchen.

I stayed Yamagata for ski. I booked a room for family of 4. The tendo hotel is good in service. The concierge is helpful. The staffs are friendly. The Onsen is good and the open bath is amazing. The breakfast is buffet styles. The dinner is traditional japanese kaiseki style which is delicious and wonderful. The price is much more reasonable than staying in Zao or obanazawa which are too famous and overpriced. If you want to stay in Yamagata in between Zao and Obanazawa. I think Tendo hotel is really a good choice!

The minor problem is that the door lock is very difficult to be unlocked. There is instruction to turn counter clockwise but it looks like sometimes work sometimes don’t work. Otherwise excellent.
