The hotel is really old. The tatami room is dark and didnt felt comfortable. The floor is rotten, the small piece rotten tatami will stick in your clothes, pants and socks. Outside the room is freezing especially the bathroom and toilet. The only good thing is location 2 min from the train station.

Patient and efficient front desk services, efficient for check in and out procedure. Restaurant located at 1-3 floor, very convenient. Also, JR , Shinkansen station nearby, big shopping mall and department store at top of JR station. Good and convenient.

Based on the price I paid, everything is beyond expectations. It's all good.

As a foreigner who has lived in this Country for 38 years I find it very offensive in this day and age for hotel staff to look at me as if I have fallen off a UFO, and be jumpy in my presence at first sight. THAT was the beginning of the nightmare stay in this hotel. Old, unfriendly, with practically no electrical plugs available in the room. The bed was a nightmare as well.... impossible to sleep in such a mattress, and the pillow was so flat it didn't even serve as a pillow. I will never stay again in this hotel. Then again, you get what you pay for, but this hotel wasn't even worth THAT fee. I was so angry that couldn't even be bothered to take photos of it.

Good breakdast

The location is excellent, just a 2-3 minute walk to the left from the Yamagata JR station exit. It's very close to the No. 1 bus stop for Zao, and Kasumi Park is within 1 kilometer, within walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious, and although a bit old, they are well maintained! Note that the check-in counter is on the 3rd floor, so please pay attention when you go there to avoid getting lost like I did.

A charming, slightly retro-style inn, conveniently located less than a five-minute walk from Yamagata Station! A hairdryer is provided upon check-in. The room was basic, and even without the lights on, the room felt quite nice with the desk lamp on.

The location was great and it was convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast was also good, and I would like to stay again when I go to Yamagata.

It was very close to the station and very convenient. The room was clean and the price was reasonable. However, I was a little worried that the luggage they took care of was just placed on top of the umbrella stand at the entrance where everyone could touch it.

The location is close to many shops and restaurants. It is convenient to travel by bus and train because it is very close. The room is a good size with facilities. I had a good experience.

The front desk staff's attitude was negative. No one came out despite ringing the doorbell many times, and I knew they were there because they were watching TV. When they did come out they were rude and smelled of cigarettes, which was also a problem. Used slippers are unacceptable! The parking lot was hard to find, so I ended up using a paid parking lot. Even though it was cheap, I won't be using it again.

Breakfast is plentiful; if not included in the room rate, it can be purchased separately for ¥800.

The hotel is in a good location and the service staff are very polite, but the room smells heavy of smoke. The bathroom door lock is wrong and cannot be closed. It opens when I pull it. The breakfast is very Japanese and delicious.
