The hotel is right in Yamanakako Village, with a bus stop conveniently located at the entrance, making it easy to get around. They also offer bicycle rentals, and Lake Yamanakako is perfect for a scenic bike ride. The room was very spacious, featuring a hot tub with direct views of Mount Fuji – soaking while gazing at the snow-capped mountain was absolutely amazing. Our special room even came with a sauna, making for a perfect sauna-then-soak experience. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and for dinner, we could choose from an 8-course menu delivered right to our room. The staff were also very warm and attentive. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Yamanakakao.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The hygiene was pretty bad; for a hotel of this caliber, the coffee cup I received still had lipstick stains on it. The in-room smart devices were practically useless, and the translation system didn't work. The air conditioning was also broken. Overall, a terrible experience!

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is brand new, well-maintained, and offers a great level of privacy, which we really appreciated. The sauna was definitely one of the highlights very relaxing and well done. That said, the service was quite minimal, as the hotel does not provide much assistance compared to other hotels. In addition, the pillow was not very comfortable and caused some neck discomfort. Other than that, everything else was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Room: Features a built-in sauna, and offers stunning views of Mount Fuji directly from the room. Fuji appears incredibly large and close to the naked eye. The room decor is very tasteful. Hotel Location: Situated on the lower-left side of Lake Yamanakako on the map. There's a bus stop right outside (though buses are infrequent). Within a 2-minute walk, there's a delicious hamburg steak restaurant. A 7-Eleven is about 5-10 minutes away, and you can rent bicycles near the 7-Eleven (the hotel also offers bike rentals, but they are mountain bikes, not electric, costing 2000 yen per hour or 4000 yen per day). If you walk another 10-15 minutes, you can feed swans in a designated area managed by locals (a family of three needs to buy one portion of swan food for 200 yen). Cycling: From the hotel, it takes about 30-50 minutes to cycle to Hirano no Hama (there are many great photo spots along the way, so you don't necessarily have to go all the way to Hirano no Hama, where the wind is incredibly strong). I recommend cycling clockwise on the map and then returning the same way.

Our room had a private onsen bath with a view of Mount Fuji! I was drawn in by the promotional photos of the private onsen suite, and it certainly didn't disappoint. While waiting to check in, the front desk arranged for a butler to assist us. They brought us desserts and tea. Our butler was a Japanese gentleman with excellent English, probably because most guests at this hotel are Westerners. He patiently explained all the rules to me, how to use the private bathtub and sauna, and how to adjust the room's various lighting effects.

Their service is great, just that they do not have 24hours front desk service (only from 7am - 9pm) so if you wanna checked in late, u must inform them earlier This place is kinda far from the main town of this area, so finding a taxi is very difficult but the receptionist can help you to arrange taxi if you need on

This is quite a surprising tonus. We were expecting traditional Japanese Ryokan but it turned out to be an Amazing Japanese + Nordic Ryokan. Yes ,Japanese Nordic....Onsen+Sauna.. half board is a must. Fantastic fusion japanese and Nordic something we never thought possible. Over all we will comeback next year. PS. Service were great too

Wow and wow, this place was amazing. I wants to do a little extra to experience Mount Fuji in a relaxed environment and this place isn’t disappoint! From the friendly staff, great music and food at the restaurant, and great energy I cannot recommend this place enough!! Worth every yen.  I also noticed that there were a lot of visitors around the same age as us, millennials and Gen Z which was nice to see.  To wake up with a view to Mount Fuji like this was a perfect trip. Also I was able to clearly see the starry sky at night which just contributed to the experience (I had 2 days of clear skies)
